DLC 19 Speculation

I'm betting props, honestly. We can kinda already make adobes and haciendas by combining the plaster walls with the terracotta roofs. The props will just make it pop even more
Yeah honestly, I think that's the part I'm looking forward to the most. I've always felt the game lacked pieces to really take desert domes etc. to the next level, so I'm really hoping for some good stuff in there. If there's some Western stuff ported over, I'm all for it; there's good pieces in there.
Both games have a different style of pieces with the quality and graphics so they probably will be a bit different, but it does make sense seeing as they can get insipration from PC2.
As mentioned earlier, PZ has plenty of original PC stuff in it. The SA pack for instance consists of plenty of direct ports from the Adventure pack.

I'm sorry. I had those packs as well. It's frustrating.

But... I'm curious... can you explain to me why you see the Flamingo and the Big Horn Sheep as something we "already have" while the Nandu is... not the Emu or the Ostrich? What makes it more unique to you?
The Rhea is the only Latin American animal that I really wanted, and even then it's not that unique.
I don't wanna be too quick with my judgement, we only have the key art to go off of, but so far it looks like it shares a lot of its poses and animations with the ostrich.

When I first saw the key art I honestly thought it was the ostrich, I realised it was the rhea simply because we already have the ostrich.
I'm sceptical.

Honest reaction:
It doesn't scream last pack but it screams honest roster.
Considering Frontier situation and the state of development of PZ I'd even say it's basically what's best to be given to player. Yes it's clones but it fills niches that we were lacking.

We have american animals, at least 2 birds and apparently a monkey.
Give a mara and a chinchilla to complete the roster, and you get probably the most interesting pack since I don't know when ? For sure since Eurasia.

The rhea is a iconic SA birds considering what PZ can offer. And the american flamingos are more colorful than the generic one we have.
The monkey is visually cool and it's a monkey from the new world. Amen.
The sheep is a probably with the nubian ibex the most interesting hot biome goat.

The coyote is meh... specially as flags species.

This pack will give nice fillers for our zoos, like Eurasia. And I like it.

It's definitely a white-faced saki in the banner. What a pleasant surprise. It's been high on my wishlist for the longest time but I never thought it would be added.

Not thrilled by another flamingo but I think the rhea was needed. I'll also have use for the bighorn sheep and maybe the coyote.

I've got my fingers firmly crossed for a coati.

Yeeesss, The head details are also so nice. Really excited for this one. Honestly not sure what everyones problem with the Coyote on the cover art is, it looks so great. We got a Pallas Cat for gods sake on the last one instead of the Hamadryas or Sifaka and no one cared.
Generalized canine/carnivoran fatigue, I'm guessing, which is kinda understandable. But hey, not every animal's gonna be a winner for everyone!

So if we've got coyote, greater rhea, American flamingo, and white-faced saki this is an incredible lineup for me. Bighorn sheep is a major misstep, but I'll take it if the saki and American flamingo are accurate (of course it's some kind of flamingo - Chilean flamingo would be acceptable, but the other new world flamingos are non-starters).

Two birds and a monkey are just a truly wonderful start. I think my pick for the final two would be Patagonian mara and one of the coatis, but I'd also be very happy to see ocelot or American black bear or white-tailed deer too. I'm just feeling the mara and coati, though. Actually, scratch that, give me the mara and ABB here, and then coati and ocelot can be in the Rainforest Animal Pack later this year~
