Incorrect Cockpit Mode

Pretty please give us a setting to suppress this HUD message entirely. If I have a Discorvery Scanner in the same fire group as weapons, they don't get in each others way. At all. I don't require the UI to nag me for using one or the other, each in their respective cockpit more. It's working fine and dandy. Yet holding down a button makes the HUD spam this error message at me, needlessly.

Thank you for your consideration ^^

CHECK!

Edit: I hate when any of those big font messages pop up in the top-right window. Especially when I'm trying to catch a specific message and it gets blocked by an "ad".

Can't scroll that window. Can't expand it. It always clears itself too fast if I'm not paying attention.

One solution I'd like would be to add more firing buttons. We only have left and right click (unless you're in a gunner seat, in which case you get 4 buttons).

I used to play some Mechwarrior games. 7 firing buttons. 1 for each of the 6 possible weapon groups and the "FIRE EVERYTHING!!!". You could make a weapon group chain-fire or make it fire all weapons in it at once. You didn't have to swap groups to fire a weapon from another group. And it somehow wasn't overwhelming.

Yeah - the useless limpet drone error message that blocks the view on the information that the asteroid is now depleted, forcing you to keep the prospector selected xD

Okay, this has been bugging me ever since it was added.
And yes, there was a blessed point in time before all this. You could condense firegroups to combine modules that would only trigger in certain situations, and it worked. It was beautiful.

Then, someone decided that what would really elevate the experience would be if you had to press a different button before being allowed to use half your modules.
And as far as I can remember, that's literally all it is. You press a button and it changes the colour of the UI. The "incorrect mode" is just a UI message for the seperation that already existed for when certain modules could and couldnt work.

I'd be in favour of silencing the notifications altogether by removing the entire mode system.

Just to add to the list of annoying, unnecessarily big/long warnings, there's the one when you misclick in FSS mode, and the warning blocks the information window to the top right for a billion hours! 😭

To be honest that is usually what reminds me to look at that information, I am usually too busy zooming out so I can find and target the next body to scan.
