But that is based on 4 optimised (+50%) cargo slots.

In the livestream they specify further: the PC "has two slots that are specifically designed to only take specific modules" and "there are specific modules that will only fit in these slots so only the Panther can have them and that is, specifically, a size 8 and a size 7 on the Panther".

So if the PC has only one optimized size 8 and one optimized size 7 slot (leaving one ordinary of each) it looks to me like the GND calculation would be out by 192 and the actual number would be 1238.

However, GND will be basing their video on info received direct from FDev, embargoed until the end of the stream, that might supercede the contents of the recorded segment, so ..

I guess the question is, do they mean "two slots" as in two sizes of slot (the 7's and the 8's) or do they mean two specific slots (so one of the 7's and one of the 8's)? Honestly Frontier, do you do this wording open to interpretation thing on purpose?

And you can knock off 2 tonnes for the Class 1. They've included the Planetary Approach Suite slot in the past.

So that's -64t for the shield (hopefully) and around -50t for HRPs and an MRP. I can live with that.

They were not specific, but given that then new module will come in Size 7 and 8, it would be strange if it was only the two 7s or only the two 8s!
Hence the reasonable assumption that it is one of each.

If you took all of the Cutter’s hardpoints and neatly cut them in half, you get the Panther Clipper’s armament on the same distributor as the Cutter.

Burr is also going with 1238, presumably based on the same info as GND, so I guess that figure is looking more likely now.
