Mostly this.Do we know about anything that we don’t know about yet?
I never did pay attention to that but I guess I should now, probes have always showed up in the navigation menu anyway so I presume any other locations also wouldThe "locations" field.

The "signals" part could also indicate something interesting, but most often it's just a crashed thargoid probe (AFAIK those are generated randomly and aren't all that interesting.)
I'm about 6-7k LY from Sag A (and will be going there within a few weeks) so I would imagine the chance of me finding brain trees all the way out here might be unlikely?Locations and Features in the system map but the stuff that's likely to represent something hidden should be in locations.
Signals in the FSS where you're usually looking for Other, Guardian or Thargoid however Biological is important when you're hunting hidden stuff as at least for guardians Brain trees are a marker that you're in a guardian area with ruins.
If you for example found a new sphere of brain trees you'd expect to find a completely unknown set of guardian ruins within. Since they've done it before if you find any sphere of horizons biology it'd be an area to check for hidden stuff.
At this stage, with the data we have. It is unlikely that there are more without additional narrative inserting new ones. I use it as an example of how they direct players towards hidden stuff not as something that you have a chance of discovering. They hide stuff but generally in a way designed to be found.I'm about 6-7k LY from Sag A (and will be going there within a few weeks) so I would imagine the chance of me finding bran trees all the way out here might be unlikely?
Whatever is inside the Col 70 Sector, for a start.…surely there's something else out there right?
The thing is that the "locations" field appears in the FSS scanner display, so even if you are just quickly FSS-scanning a new system you'll notice it. You probably aren't going to DSS-scan every single planet you find.I never did pay attention to that but I guess I should now, probes have always showed up in the navigation menu anyway so I presume any other locations also would
sorry newb question but what/where is a 'World of Death' ?*- so far there's only been one World of Death found,
It's a landable planet moderately near Colonia in the Spoihaae XE-X d2-9 system. It's in an extremely tight extremely eccentric orbit which takes it inside the exclusion zone and jet cone of a neutron star. SRVs are immune to jet cone damage, so you can get some amazing and unique views ... if you can figure out how to land there without dying. Good luck.sorry newb question but what/where is a 'World of Death' ?*
( and is there an old forum thread about it , like whenever it was first discovered? )

One of these has actually been found somewhat by accident (thank Frontier showing it more obviously through use of the "Blocked" systems in colonization filter), that being the Scriveners Clan in Synuefai OS-O c8-1... but it has received a grand total of zero attention from Frontier and there doesn't appear to be anything new there. Only noteworthy thing I've seen in the immediate vicinity is an ELW in the same system as the dredger, but it's not parked around it. Only in the same system.Where the Dredgers are.
Since January of this year, we have an even closer one, the Plunging World.Extreme procedural outliers are possible, though - so far there's only been one World of Death found, [...]
Sorry, but there's nothing new there. You can find brain trees within 750 ly of Gamma Velorum, while the Guardian ruins don't cover nearly as much of the same sphere. See this thread for a list of where the known zones are.I actually discovered a brand new system with brain trees a few months ago but completely forgot about it until now, as far as I know that's an indication that there are Guardian ruins somewhere nearby
They're in Plio Eurl ZQ-V b57-5 on planets B1 and B2, which must mean that Guardian ruins are within a 100LY radius of this system
That'd be fairly convenient but I can't see how it would be practical, FC can go a minimum of 4k LY before the tritium depot needs to be replenished and I can't really see why you'd need to remotely refuel itOne mystery is why we are not able to refuel our fleet carriers remotely. I just can't work that out.

Ah damn, it was about 1.5k south-southwest of the bubble that I found themSorry, but there's nothing new there
