Panther Clipper Rear Hardpoints phasing issue.

I think they know about it :ROFLMAO:

Those are meant for turrets, but lets be real, those 2 phasing hardpoints, should not really able to fire in foward direction. Some else ships hardpoints phases trough ships too, but not like there.

Still, its kind of embarassing, to relase one of most anticipated ship in elite dangerous ever, and make silly mistake like that.

How do you even make that mistake... I don't understand. They're in a recessed area and it's quite clear that forward weapons wouldn't have a clear line of sight...

For those who thinks it can be "fixed", it cant, AFAIK.
So far, since 2014, any of ships, wich been in that FAR in develop stage, never, ever once had thier hardpoints altered in any way. Conda used to have litte offset one of its small hardpoints (it was offset a litte in Y axis), where when deployed, it did simply not fully "go outside", but no ship ever had thier hardpoints moved out of thier OG models.

Its because its not as easy as many thinks it is, moving hardpoint elsewhere than already it is, not only require re-modeling entire ship mesh, but also new textures as well.

Now then, its already available for "partners" for early testing, but lets be frank, ship will be relased exacly in that state, as its been shown so far. I guess it will be its litte "charm", of having obscured hardpoints. From cockpit perspective, it does not really matters, but I guess there is enough of detail purists out there, wich that litte phasing issue will make it ship felt more sour, apart of being apperently not cargo enough for many.

Also, ship its kinda faster than expected, its on par with conda and vette, wich will make T9 an museum piece, or poor man's choice.

I do also wonder, if this ship, comes with indestructive drives, wich basically every new "SCO" ship, had same issue.
Some are still busted like T8, and preety sure its bonked hitboxes issue.

Still, lookin foward to kill these things in open, seems like ez target.

every little helps to get that cargo further!

I'm probably not in a majority with that, but I'd rather have the guns when I feel like blowing an NPC pirate getting on my nerves badly, to shreds. Still to decide whether I'd run them as gimbals or just throw em on as turrets, but the former is more satisfying when you manage to train the guns on target and just let them all go to town, at once. If it has a pitch rate identical to T10 gimbals might still suffice against said NPCs... and I wouldn't engage in a PvP fight. Not that I'm liable to see those.
