I'd like to draw your attention to this image...

Now, can someone explain to me how I'm meant to dust the front part of the cockpit? There's no way I can reach the front there even leaning right across the controls. That's going to lead to a massive build up of dust and lint at the front, probably harboring a ton of bacteria and other germs and could play merry hell on people with allergies.

You dock. You pop the cockpit open like a civilised person. You throw it out the airlock and replace it with a factory fresh cockpit.

I am not sure the version the small sinister* person is wielding is long enough.

Why not just close your helmet and use all that vacuum to clean the dust out.


*Based on most people wear the watch on their non dominant side.

Galactic Halfords sell a "Long Reach Windscreen Cleaner". I don't know if they sell slaves prisoners with jobs too but if they don't, you could always open the canopy during the glide phase of a landing; should clean the dust right off the dash.

Go to the outside view. Observe how big your pilot is, compared to the cockpit. Same for the courier. Once you saw that, you know the answer: you get a dozen of people to sweep that area. They will be busy for a while...

Is there a version of this for the insides of windscreens
I can barely reach the bottom of mine, especially in the middle where the angle makes it awkward to get at and it always looks fine right until the moment I have to go out at night and the streaks become visible in the streetlights

Not an Imperial ship, simply Gutamaya ship for non-Imperial markets and pilots. Imperial ships require a proper rank and they are fitted with genuine Gutamaya flight seats. The Corsair doesn't require rank and has refurbished seats of unknown origin. Imperial Corsair is yet to come.
