[Fermats Folly]

Apologies if someone has already posted this, didn't find it on a search.

The NewSpace company Planetary Resources has a KS to fund a mini-space telescope for public use. You can have a space selfie for as little as $25. For $99 you can donate a use of the telescope to a research/educational group and for $200 you can take your own picture of anything in space (except the Sun!).

The KS is currently @ about 90% funded with over 2 weeks left to go. Worth checking out:

Yeah I've backed this to the tune of $100 an bagged myself the HD A3 Printed Selfie.
I would recommend Frontier hacking this and getting the Elite Dangerous logo up there!

I had a similar thought - how about a picture of a Cobra Mk III really in space?!

I'm delighted to say that the KS passed its initial $1M funding goal a couple of days ago

Now working towards stretch goals and currently at the $1.1M mark. Depending on the size of the final KS spike, I think final total likely to be in the $1.5 - 1.7M range.

They made it to over 1.5 million! Didn't make the exo-planets unfortunately, but they did make the Asteroid Zoo, with a little help from Sir Richard Branson to the tune of $100K.

Pledged $99 then added another 70 to cover two more T-Shirts and the patch! . So wanted that Dino Revenge T-Shirt lol.
