Newcomer / Intro My first Eagle

The Freagle has the extra weapons mount, and can be made into a nasty little fighter.
It's faster than the Sidewinder, and more agile.
But, it burns gas like an F-4D at military power. Has less internal structure. And, it gets attention. I'm thinking of flying back to my stored Sidewinder, and cashing out.
Also, I crash less during docking with the Sidewinder.
That Freagle is very sensitive to control inputs. It really is a fighter. The Sidewinder is more forgiving. It might have been built like a Cessna Caravan, as a comparison.
It will hurt having to give up the Freagle, but I think the Sidewinder may well be the better starting ship. Any advice?
