Thanks, FD, for already delivering the first patch so early in the new year!

Thanks for the update, but I would like to know if you are even aware of the disappearing landing pad hologramms that are an issue for several patches now. They worked all the way through Beta and Gamma and were broken shortly before the official release, if I recall correctly.

I have been having the same problem since about release, not only at stations but at outposts as well. Would be cool if this could be fixed.

Hi everyone,
- Various text fixes
Michael

Well, shoot. I was really hoping this meant the "Prohibited Items" text had been fixed. There are still lots of stations that openly (not black market) sell/buy items listed as "Prohibited" in their descriptions on the System Map. Which is the only way I know of to tell what items are prohibited at a station (besides trial & error with the security - not desirable).

In patch 1.04 the commodities screen lists where things are produced and where they are consumed.

There seems to be a few errors?

Computer Components are listed as Produced in High-Tech and consumed in Industrial. This is the opposite to everything I've seen in any station; they are produced in Industrial stations and consumed by High Tech stations.

The tool tip for silver is all messed up.

Platinum is missing it's produced (may be intentional).

Bauxite missing any details.

Chemical Waste missing any details (may be intentional).

There are some online changes as well which Andy will post in his update, but one change is worth mentioning here - there should be an improvement in matchmaking that should mean you are more likely to see other players if they are in the same region as you.

Thanks!

Michael

That's good. I was trying to find my friend last night and he lives just down the road from me. We could not find each other, despite being in the same group and system and station.

Sadly it seems the same. Maybe because I was in an anarchy system. But the resource belt was full of federal ships (who I'm friendly with) and who attack me if I go after anyone. Since it's anarchy, everybody is clean locally. Maybe it's best to bounty hunt in civilized space now?

Why are there authority ships in a system with no authorities? That seems strange to me. Are you sure that you are in an anarchy zone?

I see someone already posted the Keplar Object of Interest link, so the system name would be KOI 438 or KOI-438.

The KOI number is what they assign when they see periodic dimming of light from the star, there might be something there. When they've confirmed an exoplanet they then give the system a Kepler name, so Kepler-438 was formerly KOI 3284, and Kepler-442 was previously listed as KOI 4742. Michael confirmed here they've been mistakenly added to KOI 438 and KOI 442 instead of the correct KOI systems, which I'm sure will be fixed at some point. He also mentions that the systems are further out than they should be currently, which is a known issue.

Has anyone else noticed that NPCs have become a lot more aggressive when going through the door at starports? Especially small ships, I just saw an NPC-flown Eagle dash past a T7, just like players to. Very nice. :)
I was sat outside Ethegreze last night just watching traffic and saw something similar to that. Quite a few of the smaller NPCs queue jumping.

Great that Frontier keeps refining the game on a fast pace.
The changelog reads as if it has been automatically translated by Google from chinese to english. :(

Ralf.
