I think they are too many entries now... since the book came out why adding like an entry for any things that float in space?
I've been coming here for month but recently I'm puzzled.

There use to be 50/70 records to focus on, seems now there are 200 and I see some guy coming and claiming they found a pink moon somewhere... and there seem to be an entry for it?

Anyway... not complaining specifically, but just wanted to say it. Now when I find an interesting system, somehow I can't bother going for 20 minutes through all these lists...?

.

oh, and by the way, I beat my previous record of system with most dwarf stars :
this one has 13 (the small ringed one on the right is a gas giant) = S 171 43

Gotta agree here, I mean I could add so many more entries but it's hard enough digging for info on just the one's i've entered. Now if I want to enter for multiple things I have to literally pore over every detail on every stellar object then cross reference my screenshots with the records book...There are a lot of things to scan out there! As it stands It will be best to just pick a few things to look out for and go from there or risk burning out hehe.

About the only thing I find beneficial is that while exploring I can look at the screenshots I have and find winners (I really wish they had something like this in game though x)

Atm it is confusing, but when all records are filled in the thread should calm down and you can concentrate on the records you like,

eventually a number of records will be removed because they are abundant or doubles

CLASS IV GAS GIANT WITH SHORTEST ORBITAL PERIOD - TrES-4 2 (3.6 Days) - CMDR KELSEN RAVENSTAR
CLOSEST CLASS IV GAS GIANT TO STAR - TrES-4 2 (0.05AU) - CMDR KELSEN RAVENSTAR

I'll leave these up to patau82

CLOSEST CLASS IV GAS GIANT TO STAR - TrES-4 2 (0.05AU) - CMDR KELSEN RAVENSTAR

Unfortunately I wont be including CLOSEST CLASS IV GAS GIANT TO STAR as there are too many records and this one require guess work, I've included Closest gas giant as the entry is exceptionally close (within 2ls!)
CLOSEST CLASS IV GAS GIANT TO STAR I may include this in the future as there are currently too many records! sorry:eek:

I will try to do some thing about this at the weekend, this is very much work in progress I only made it last weekend!
I've actually got used to it, although I did make it and update it so that helps!:) there is a method to the madness!

well, I'm glad if there is a method... and it's a good job this book but..

I've been to 1700+ systems scanning now for 3 weeks, and I've sometimes fought with some here to find a star with one digit less or more than the next... ok cool, but I see newcomers submitting 20 new entries for various gas giant types and really, I can't go back to the zillion system I scanned though I'm sure I could challenge their claims. In fact, I'm overwhelmed and don't check any more.

In any case, if this brings more players to exploring I'm sure it's for the best.
I'll stay quiet for the most part now I think.

cheers

Hello Commanders

I have a new hottie: CD-36 11341, aka the Wolf-Rayet star at the heart of the Bug nebula: 168'597.00K surface temperature!

Don't worry only another 400 billion stars to visit!, I'm going to try and fill as much of the empty record with entries from sol and surrounding area should help improve the quality of the records, the harder the record the better the find!:D

not the hottest overall but fills in all the blanks for wolf-rayet class stars in the stellar bodies section.
off to work now will add this when I get back!

I agree with Patau, at this early stage when this is all fairly new, those who can get in will get hundreds of records, but as time goes on, these posts will get smaller until perhaps we post just 1 or 2 per system (if we're lucky).

I claim:

SYSTEM WITH THE MOST PLANETARY BODIES

SYSTEM WITH THE MOST CLASS I GAS GIANTS

SYSTEM WITH THE MOST CLASS II GAS GIANTS

SYSTEM WITH THE MOST PLANETARY BODIES (NON GAS GIANT)

COLDEST K- TYPE STAR

SMALLEST K- TYPE STAR

YOUNGEST K- TYPE STAR

LARGEST M-TYPE STAR

HEAVIEST M-TYPE STAR

HOTTEST M-TYPE STAR

YOUNGEST M-TYPE STAR

M-TYPE STAR WITH THE MOST BODIES

LIGHTEST GAS GIANT

SMALLEST AND LIGHTEST HIGH METAL CONTENT PLANET

HEAVIEST RINGED BODY ( NON GAS GIANT)

SMALLEST AND LIGHTEST ICY PLANET

ICY PLANET WITH THE MOST MOONS

CLASS I AND II LARGEST, HEAVIEST, LIGHTES AND SMALLEST GAS GIANT

ALL FOR

PLAA
EURK MH-C C13-2

THEIR SHOULD BE SOME MORE RECORDS OUT THEIR THOUGH

ALL EVIDENCE OF THESE RECORDS CAN BE FOUND HERE (AND MAYBE SOME MORE IN
UNREASERCHED EVIDENCE)

FOR THE EMPEROR!!

all these claimes have been entered in the book .

so after ddoing this for an afternoon i decided that all my future claims will be from new finds, so i will actually platy the game

ah, i did wonder. in that case you need to change the period for a comma.
The number currently reads "seventy six point six-two-oh".
Is it supposed to be "seventy-six thousand, six hundred and twenty?
