Lets test this persistent universe and see if FD are true to their word.

Welcome and yes it does, servers should sync once per day. Thats also the reason why you have to be online in single player.

I love the possibilities here; If I as a Fed don't like the direction of a 'system takeover expansion', I can work as a Fed in Solo or small group to stop it...

Don't be daft Sirius. I know very well you are one of the key players in this. I see you guys flying around out there every time I am online. I know full well how much effort you have put into this and am very grateful for your interest. If we had 10 of you we would be at 100% by now!

Would it be the 100 % we want ? Maybe we failed..

Thanks for the update! LFE are where they belong now! Question is though, why are they in a boom? WHo is doing missions and trading in their stations?

I think some people can abuse the situalion and trade between high demand with good prices comfortably located Hatrsfield and Cavendish.
I dont think they run missions, just making money. Just a bussiness.
And if it is truth, it's show that influence benefit much more from missions rather than trading.

Suspicious that the Seeking Luxuries have turned up a the same time that LFE achieved Boom status. Is it good enough for us to check the faction of a trader before trading, or might it be that they will all benefit LFE?

One of their stations has to be close to falling and when it does it will all come crashing down for LFE as the trade from that station will then benefit CSG.

Yes this is suspicious. Is it USS Type 9's asking for goods?

It looks from this that the "Seeking Luxuries" only appear when the controlling faction achieves Boom - as they weren't there when only CSG had a BOOM status. If that's the case then it seems likely that any trading occurring there will only aid LFE?

Private groups like this ?

If they come they will have a hard time competing with CSG. What is the worst that could happen? They replace silver Natural for 1%?
Hopefully they will threaten someone else and it will give us a good reason to teach them a lesson...

I think they expand with 9% to the target system (this was the case before 1.05). Yes in truth it sounds worser then it is because the target system could also be sesuang or eta crucis.

Just a heads up that the processing queue has now run successfully for the past two days so we're now considering that bug fixed. We'll continue looking into the influence being applied into the wrong system for factions expanding into other systems.

After trading like crazy in my Type 9 this weekend and making almost 200 Mio. (only to Balandin, so i did not support LFE), i wanted to buy a class A Python and switch to do some missions, but now with the seeking luxuries zones all over the place i guess i have to continue.

BIG question: Will this really support CSG or do the profits go to LFE? This is very important. If i only trade with the Type 9 CSG ships i "should" support CSG but i'am not sure and i really don't want to hurt them.

edit: I'll stay away from them until we can get an answer to this.

At the moment I think we should consider these ships to be working for LFE. They just arrived when their boom hit. They are still the controlling power in the system so I would think that is who they work for.

(edit) I just noticed these ships have CSG as their faction in that screen shot. I suppose logically they would have to be CSG ships but who knows if the game system is running right?

Thanks Michael. Your continuing effort is much appreciated :)

who are the progressive party? Are they idependent or Feds?

It's got a federation logo, so I'm guessing they're feds.

Re the Seeking Luxuries ships, is it worth doing a controlled - and time limited - trading session with them (say one night) to see which faction is affected? This should be worthwhile from a testing point of view, as well as working out what it does?

Anybody have any numbers on how many missions/trade value you must complete with a faction before you become friendly/allied etc?
