I realise a) your not in the office and b) you can't answer right away on everything in this thread. Were talking operational stuff here and it may not even appropriate to do so.

I'm not sure why we get quite so many storms in this particular tea-cup. A company re-issuing a limited edition cosmetic item is not actually indicative of anything much, and certainly isn't the end of the world. Unless they then continue to sell it indefinitely it can in fact be treated as a discontinuous extension of a limited period of availability.

So I have to ask, why is it still not a tied-up issue? Other than that you're currently at PAX South that is. I would have ended that comment with a "We're looking into it and will have a resolution, one way or the other, as time will allow" Maybe thrown in a "Get your limited skins while they last" for good measure (kidding).
On a serious note. We'll keep on ya until it's resolved, not because we're jerks (me excluded of course, I am a bit "forward" at times) but, because it needs to be put to bed and slowly drip down into the abyss of forgotten threads, if ya know what I mean.

Thanks. I appreciate this a lot. We do take things to heart at FD because we care (translation - I care). Hard to please everyone. But yes, I'll look in to this and make sure we don't make the same error again. This could read 'no more limited editions' but I don't know if I can make that call. I know the issue is bigger than that... I'mma do my best (been in Texas too long).

While we got your attention and therefore the time opportunity to annoy you, a reminder: 3rd person camera (out of combat, if that's important) sells ship skins. People want to admire their possessions. Hewmons are evolved Hunter-gatherers, and therefore collectors. Rule #222: Knowledge is Latinum. Especially that about your customer.
Also you could easily make simple make simple pattern skins like this available for every ship.
