it is annoying... before i could [plan route up to 110LY now it struggles at 60-70LY :/ what they should do... allow for route planner to try to set up route toward direction im looking or toward system i marked... not calculate all routes even though i specificly want to go in given direction. its like gps trying to send me from Berlin to Paris through Moscow and Kuala Lumpur first...
even better.. now i noticed it doesnt show me any systems past 18 LY in my navigation. i have to go to galaxy map and pick system i have route to coz cant just lock it in navigation panel since it is not there... had no probs before.. i was running a hauler with 30 LY range and it was flawless if i can say so... now runnig different setup with 26 LY cobra (just for better views really - before i can get to ASP) and it is all crap up in navigation... i recon its 1.07. i dont know what changed here but i saw someone on the forums complimenting better working galaxy maps for him. it certainly isnt for me.
anyone netoiced any changes ?
I think I'm going to start using the gal map one jump at a time during exploration, rather than plotting multiple-jump routes.
Anyone else do it like this?

Found an ammonia world that fits right smack in the middle of that range you gave me, Jackie:I am; principally I'm looking for medium to high mass examples. I'm heading for the monstrous 100 Earth mass Ammonia world that Nutter found upthread, and I have a number of examples for low mass Ammonia worlds, but nothing between 5 Earth mass and 100 mass Earth mass.
For this week’s dev update the focus is on the 1.1 update which will go into beta next week. First we have some good news for explorers. We’re adding the discovered by tag to the system map so when you view a body’s information you will see which commander first scanned and returned to sell the data for that body. Supplementing this we’re also adding information when you sell exploration data of the bodies contained within the exploration data being sold for a specific system. There’s also a change to enable selling exploration data a page at a time to help those who have been on long journeys of exploration!

A: It should be retrospective.

There could have been two categories, first visited by, and first explored by. Pingers just get the first visited tag, whereas explorers who put the time in to actually survey worlds get the explored by tag.
A: It's on a per body basis and the body has to have been scanned.

A: You have to sell it to Universal Cartographics to register what you've found. The first person to do so will be marked as the discoverer. You can still sell the data even if you are not the first.

A: Being mapped many times isn't a problem. The system changes over time with orbits and so forth. We do want to add a first discovered bonus, but that probably won't make 1.1.

posted this elsewhere already but more useful here probably:
more explorer quotes from that thread:
sounds like bunnyhopping friendship honking approach to exploration just lost a lot of appeal. Rightfully so. As first discovered is per system object and seems to be based on detail scan!
Can't say I like the "first sold gets first discovered" tag though. Should be based on scan timestamp. Not sell timestamp. Obviously only IF and once you make it home and sell. But if I return later than another Commander but my scan stamp was earlier. Then "discovered by Cmdr fasttraveler" should be replaced with "first discovered by Cmdr me".
Right now at the Omega Nebula. And I can't see me going all the way to Sagitarius A with that mechanic. But will probably head home much, much earlier....

I actually have to disagree... If someone went to "discover" America same time as Columbus but went there and back in shorter time who would get glory? One that came back first or Columbus? Columbus would still get his "bonus" but he wouldnt be first to discover sort of thing.
