There was talk during the DDF of ships that would need to dock along side a station rather than inside. (Like a docking arm)

If FD intend to go ahead with that idea for some of the stations that would get round the problem of it being too big for pads.

They're kinda starting to look the same now the big ones. Like Anaconda, Python and now this one. Same triangle shape. Except the Clipper *drool*

Triangle do allow more ship's guns to be brought to bare forwards

This is early days yet players will be flying them this year (If not in the next few months) so it's not unreasonable to think that future ships etc will be bigger / more complex?

At the moment the conditions for sale are unknown - The drop ship / Clipper require reputation so who knows for this new beauty.

If size is any indication, this could be much more expensive than an anaconda, which is already extremely hard to support with the current state of money making/trading. The way I see it this is an unachievable addition for casual players.

As probably it should be. A casual player who doesn't put in the work, shouldn't be able to reap the same benefits of the players that do. I am a very casual player.

I wouldn't hold my breath. It's called a "corvette", and it looks pretty lean.

I may be wrong but it looks like smaller than the Anaconda but bigger than the Python.

It would probably be a combat dedicated vessel, with similar strength than the Conda but more agile and with little space for cargo.

I have the same impression.Cool looking ship, looks really mean.

Yeah just saw it in the new newsletter (#61).
Seemingly belongs with the 1.2 update and I have to say it looks pretty sweet. Kinda like a mini capital ship.

Wow so maybe we will be getting more ships in 1.2!

At some point you might find player owned ships that are too big (Have no need) to dock at a station?

Maybe you have to dock a hauler in it and use it as a shuttle for fuel/ammo etc

as the Panther (ship on the left for ppl don't know) was that biggest ship in the original at 2100tons cargo with no drive the corvette going on that should be half the size of a capital ship

Still want my Panther though, fully nerfed before release so it can't possibly be nerfed anymore

Rather: please don't make it more expensive than the Anaconda*, even that can't be upgraded and maintained currently by means other than endless trade grind… =)

* Unless you add high profit / high risk things for big ships to do.

Sadly, I think you're right. Damn balance "so everything can be killed by a single Viper".
