PVP is not allowed outside of conflict zones in the group. That seems pretty clear, and yet you told another CMDR, clearly outside of a conflict zone, that you would engage in PVP if he/she did not do as you asked?
Are you saying that had the other CMDR replied telling you that "you can't as you're in Mobius," you'd have just sat there looking silly, or would you have actually attacked? Either option seems pretty strange to me. I'm all for role-play; but this type of behaviour seems to simply go against the group rules as the normal reaction from anyone receiving your message would be why bluff what's effectively a violation of the group rules, it'd be like bluffing to 'combat-log' in Open Play, i.e. a game mechanic that you can technically do, but that is 'against the rules' and would/could get you banned. This isn't role-play in the sense of the universe, but messing with game rules IMO. The obvious assumption to make from your threat would be to think that you must just be a 'bad egg' like some of the others who've been kicked recently.
I don't understand what you hoped to achieve by threatening another player with attack and thus breaking the rules, just doesn't make much sense to me... You either go ahead and do it, and are therefore kicked out, or don't and look silly for threatening something which in this group you simply can't do... That's not what I said. Anyway, this is clearly going nowhere so I'm not posting any more on the topic. The rules are there in black and white and I think you'll have to either accept the consequences, or hope someone's feeling really lenient. I don't think you can argue it either way, but that is just my humble opinion as 1/6000ish Mobius member.

We might have to clarify policing and the the zero tolerance policy on the first thread and the forums.
If Mobius let'S you reenter, I would expect it to be the very last exception he makes, as it just would be a full time job to keep track of "accidental" breaking of the rules.
First of all, I posted what I did on the Mobius thread when you threatened me with an attack outside of the CG station at Khaka because I thought it was quite funny, in a pathetic sort of way. I mean, either you were going to attack me, or you weren't, or you were going to blockade a CG that had already finished, or you weren't!! Either way, threats of PvP in a PvE group are at best stupid.
Anyway, I didn't report your name to the group moderator or publish it in this thread. However, the moderator subsequently asked me for your name to see if another complaint was linked. I obliged.
So, what exactly was the point of your RP, other than to issue empty threats??? I, of course, couldn't take the risk (having already been attacked by a rule-breaking CMDR a few days earlier), so jumped out of there. But I was interested in letting other CMDRs know, just in case they were being targeted by a 'potential' PvPer.
But it specifically needs to be an actual conflict zone (where you choose a side), right, not just the general vicinity?
"This is a blockade... If you run, I will attack... Crimson Fighter" - So you're not in a defined CZ and threaten PvP, seems like a pretty clear threat of breaking of the rules to me.

people sometimes need a second chance, in this instance no real harm was done and YoBuck understands our policy a little better that he did previously and genuinely would like to remain in the group.
