I figure it's at a station that hardly anyone visits. I have a few I want to check. Even one that doesn't show up on the system map.

I had figured it has to be a high tech system with a station, cant be an outpost...why? because then bigger ships wouldnt be able to land...so I like to think they decided to go inclusive...

The high tech system is because, notonly obvious reference, but added to the fact that Godel ring is an Industrial station...the ones that benefit the most from Hi Tech....my bet is that, Hi Tech station...

Awesome hunting party! Excelent idea FD. I am just imagining when the thing expand to planet exploration too! Boarding and all the stuff, that I am sure that FD will bring something very innovative instead Call of Duty on space.

They need clues for us to follow. A random hunt like this is NOT FUN. It's just a lottery now when some lucky schmuck logs in and checks the commodities market and sees an NVDIA card. Didn't even know about the contest before, but one quick google and they have it.

Oh well. Maybe next time it will be more of a treasure hunt instead of a random impossible search.

You don't know that yet. You don't know if its really random. My guess is that they gave clues already. And in case nobody figure out after some days, they probably will give more.

One thing I don't understand:

"To celebrate the pre-release of the new module (...) rewarded with a commercial model as soon as they become available"

Is this supposed to be a hunt for the Titan X, and someone at FD has goofed?

Possibly, knowing their general aversion to good grammar, spell-checking and clearness at FD. Guess we'll just have to find a canister of Titans and bring it in among the first five, then wait and see what actually comes in the post.

I'm at a complete loss. I don't believe "Reynhardt Inellisys" is a clue at all and that it might actually have been randomly placed.

I'm just absolutely amazed at the effort some peeps are going to for urm, erm, no good reason. It's nice of FD to offer free hardware, but there's absolutely no good reason to drop everything and rush to find a whotsit thing somewhere. Just think of the time you spend doing so. I can absolutely guarantee you that the time you spend on this endeavor is worth more than the full retail price of the card.

To each their own of course, and good luck to those determined enough to keep looking :)

Focusing on high tech systems

I was so certain the system "Tellus" would be a winner. Even filtering just high tech systems there's too many places to look.

I think to a lot of people $1000 of take home money equals a lot of hours in terms of job salary. Add to the fact that you're playing a game and not working and it doesn't look so bad.

It's been sold in one store... in one place... and my guess is that the place probably represents what a Titan Black means... maybe not in terms just of a name, a code, but in terms of visuals...

I guess that the base where it has been offered is in a place from where you can have a stunning visual.

Any base near of a black hole, for example?
