I need to know what rep i require for an imperial courier! Hopefully same as clipper, as i am currently baron. I have been all over the place doing missions for empire factions and still cant get a rank up mission. Various minor factions, even gave one a 4 million boost to its war efforts. Nothing. I think the requirements may have increased in one of the recent rep change patches, as i had little problem getting to baron.

Same goes for me although I am still a Lord, and it seems like I don't get any rank missions so far, maybe its just bad luck because rank progression missions appear randomly at empire stations.
I don't think both will require the same Rank though. The Courier could be cheaper than the Clipper, what could also mean you don't need a higher rank. I just want to know its real price. So I can kinda farm the Cr for it
I hear you, but i used the same method of ranking up as i used to get from nothing to Baron in about 8 hours, and after several hours was getting nowhere. Like i said, even after cashing in a 4 million donation mission to a minor faction i hadnt increased rep with before. Something seems off. Maybe because i have good rep with the empire in general so far, that reduces benefit from increasing my status with minor factions? I really don't know.
I have about 120 million riding with my FDL and a small cash float, that better be enough for the courier....lol. It looks sick from the concepts.

So now you need interdiction drives to finish or even take the assassination missions, so you have to fly and interdict is that what we are understanding here Michael? Please could you confirm?

yeah that's what I thought, but you never know. The Rank doesn't have to be the indicator of it's price. Maybe this ships are manifactured by using the most expensive resources.
But if the couries is like the vulture in its Class the price could range between 5 - 25 Million. Depending on the Hardpoints and Internal stuff you can upgrade/have.

Just an of topic subject i just reinstalled mij grapic cards and noticed a change in suround stettings insted of horizontal it was vertical seeing my feet center view and the roof of the station.
while i was playing around with the nvidea suround view settings it also suports the 5 monitor landscape view with no problem having a 180 degree view is great for flying in formation or in to astroid fields.
does any one have more setups i could try

The Federal Corvette is currently the only ship I am really looking forward to. However that might change once we know more about the Courier and Diamondbacks specifications.

Can i be correct in assuming that the plan is to have a low mid and a high end ship available to the empire and federation spread evenly through the ranks?
Good stuff Michael, really looking forward to Power Play. Quietly hoping it includes new buttons to press in the background sim. Maybe even automatically triggering community goals and space station production. Being able to push the background sim to actually change the galaxy truly would be worthy of the name 'Power Play', but hey, I'm a dreamer... 
Whatever it is I'm sure it will greatly improve the game just the same as 'Wings' did.

In any way it looks smaller, usually big means expensive. I would say between 5 to 15 million, the clipper being 22. We'll have to wait & see

So we can assume that it will also be cheaper... Can't say that I'm too happy about this, I'd want to see the Courier as an expensive hi-tech or luxurious ship for experienced players.
