Updated Permit List

After seeing this I have an idea.

If I have enough time before 1.3 goes live. I would like to hoover up all the easy to get permits.

The "Not so great" permit grind.

I suspect that 1.3 may cause a whole ton of issues with permits (Why? Because Elite Dangerous).

When I started this game the permits were all borked so I cold not visit a whole bunch of systems including sol! (Why? Because Elite Dangerous)

FD sorted this out (To some degree) by giving out a ton of permits for places I have never even been.

But...
Whilst the current system allows the easy collection of them, I want them!

I would hate to be sent to a prison for loitering in a system I have not first checked out!

Is there a Route that could be planned to scoop them all up in a few hours of power grinding?
I would like to start Wednesday as I have little else to do. I do have plans for world domination, but I have left them until next week.

It may be an idea to "wing up" in this caper!

I would even buy another asp (Jump range) just for this mission?

Honestly, you'd probably make money faster jumping and honking the horn than going on any particular exploration route and scanning all the planets. Even then, it's like 7-8M per system to get allied. Be prepared to spend a week or two of heavy, long range exploration if you want to do them all at once.

You *could* try getting pledging for the Sirus Corporation power, but I think the exploration bonuses only apply to their sphere of influence. Might be a worthy objective for Sirus Corp to think about expanding to all the independent permit granting systems.

I assume there's no way to get permit to these Federation systems?

Not necessarily. No one has reported what faction grants the permit to these systems. If you're willing to try to figure out the location of the permit-granting faction outside their respective home systems, please report back with the answer so I can update the OP.

Have you found that some permits providers seem to be invalid recently. I picked one up from Hecate for Terra Matter but Jim and I have also been looking for the Jotun permit with no luck at all.

Have you seen my guide to NGC 3199? :D

No can you point me to it please. I thought I would get back in to permits while people faff about slave trading

I have placed a post in General

I am hoping we can do this!

That's why I made this thread. Honestly, you can do the permits in any order you like. Just do a ton of exploration and drop 7-8M credits worth of data at each station owned by a permit faction. It seems the majority of obtainable permits now, in fact, can be easily obtained this way. I'm pretty sure that the thousands of people referencing this thread had something to do with it. :D

And I wouldn't know, I haven't obtained a permit in recent days.

Tiliala permit

since Monday easy to reach via Varpet Germain Station.
No problems to get the permit but little change in progress:
After "Allied" and invited now you have first to go to an other system and there you got a cryptet key for your FSD computer:

We salute you!

I just got the Vega permit at Warrant Officer and the ROSS 128 permit at Ensign. I've only just managed at 1.3 so maybe they switched those two around?

I never got those permits as a mission either, they were added automatically to my permit list.

Been working on permits the last two days, mainly through selling explore data.

I got a few easily enough:
Van Maanen's star
Terra Mater
Phekda
Alioth

But I couldn't get these three:
Sirius
Jotun
Isinor

I've checked and double checked, and I'm allied with the appropriate factions for these three.

With Isinor I don't see a station in the system map. Could that be a factor? They can't give you a mission to go there if there isn't a station, unless the UC data is incorrect?

I tried both systems for Jotun, nothing. Sirius I only tried two systems and had no luck.

I would add, for these last three system, the mission doesn't appear at all, even in the unavailable section. The ones I could get were visible even before I got allied. If in doubt, it may be a time saver to only do the ones where you are sure the mission is there before working on faction.

that would be new since 1.3. I have the Isinor permit, but don't remember from what system. But there is a thread here somewhere.

Still no luck for Isinor. Been to every station in the 3 systems listed in 1st post. No mission. This is getting tiring...

Can confirm that the rank-specific permits are automatically added to your permit list once you rank up.

Also, I've just reached Lieutenant rank with the Federal Navy and gotten the Exbeur System Permit but do not have the Hors System Permit. I think these might also have been switched around.

Crom permit via 69 G. Carinae "The Silver Boys" Station

Not as expected in BUNURAS (>60% now!) but in 69.G Carinae "The Silver Boys" now fight about 3 big stations since today!
Bet (and hope) they get at least one for easier permit. Maybe a lot faster with a few Freelancer at the right side ...

It took ages (war since 25.05) but now: Boswell Terminal @ 742Ls goes to "The Silver Boys".
That's a lot nicer then the other two vacant stations @ 145722Ls and 406916Ls. :D
So easy missions, "Rare runs", UC-Data selling or further fighting (combat bonds) in 69 G. Carinae for Crom permit now available.

Crom looks not realy as the most impressive system in the map, but how knows ....?
But for permit collectors a must and I hate blocked system so near "Jameson Memorial".

We salute you!

P.S. REP for CMDR Swift Arrow again to be aware to add:
#1: CROM via 69 G. Carinae
Note: Recommended system has a station controlled by the The Silver Boys" now.

#2: Tiliala via Varpet
Note: Recommended system has a station controlled by the "Conservatives of Tiliala" now.

Edit: title edit to remove the "Booys" typo ... :D

I didn't get Achenar access until becoming a Squire. I looked left and right for missions as a Master, until taking a navy ascension. Upon becoming a Squire I found that I was also given an Achenar permit. This was yesterday.
