Moved on as since PP the game just hasn't been interesting enough to bother double clicking the icon. Think I had to high hopes for 1.3

I still love and support E: D but I've not played much recently and streamed even less; tried PowerPlay but figured it wasn't up my street so now I need to sneak away from the Alliance. Sshh don't tell them! ..Oops

Anyhow back in the Gamma & first few months after Release I became Allied with independent factions around Lave, helped out in LFT 133 for a bit, did some Onionhead, gave Wings a good go, got a Vulture (tis awesome) and poked a few Feds in Lugh. Had a break for some weeks before I going on a jolly to M42 in my Asp, mosied around the clouds and took loads of screenies, scanned hellalot of stuff that got me up to Trailblazer status Combat is currently top end of Expert, Trade on Merchant.

Currently looking forward to Lavecon this weekend!

I'm full on involved with Power Play. Which has interrupted my transition to an Anaconda. I run the Aisling Duval facebook group, do a bit of roleplay there which I pass along ingame to my character.

Rankwise: Expert, Broker, Pioneer. I explored for ages, but it's taken a back seat as I throw myself into PP. Not that I have time for Rank 5, so I hover around 3 or 4.

Right now I'm flying a T9 as I get back to making funds to get that anaconda.

And I write the occasional GalNet article. Of the two I've submitted, both have been published.

And on here I try to keep reminding the Dev folks: Ship naming, Tier 2 NPCs and Ship's Crew. Some battles I won't give up.

Hi cmdr, I didn't realise there was an aisling duval fb group. I'd be interested in joining that if possible. I'll check it out.

I spend most of my time around Founders World and traveling to a good trade run about 180ly's away. (Although I have to fly in solo as there is an online group that attacks any Cmdr that trades from there)
Kind of loosing heart in the game at the moment, Power play wasn't for me and has kind of ruined my game play. (Even though FD said not taking part in PP would change game dynamics in anyway it has for me)
I love playing in open, but as I don't fly in a wing I seem to have to play in solo more and more as getting interdicted by wings of 3 frequently is also ruining it for me.

I was a Beta Backer... but believed that the game would be wiped before launch so never 'went for it'.. plus the bugs on launch really put me off. So I stopped playing until the last couple of weeks. Very happy I came back!!

I was only a beta backer but I'm now 22,000 LY out. One day I must go and visit my freegle - it felt like cheating using the advantageous start ships my tier gave me so I started with the base 1000 Cr and worked up from there.

Hoping to come back a Pioneer then time to buy a trade python and move the trade rank up a bit (I'm only at the 35MCr ranking).

Would have loved to have been a backer. Being retired on a fixed income put paid to that.

Started playing at the first day of beta and have enjoyed the ride so far except for a few things that have bugged me.

Don't mind Xbox etc but can't understand the reason behind PowerPlay. Played it for two weeks of beta and one week after then realised that it was not for me.

Wish they had spent the time and effort on making missions more interesting instead. This, with a lack of purpose, is IMO what is missing from the game.

Missions could go on for days or weeks with more being added to them as you prove your worth, your name gets around and your reputation increases.
Also would like to see a passenger module to carry limited amounts of passengers to meetings etc.

Spend most of my time taking "samey" missions and bounty hunting.

Have a nicely kitted out Vulture and a T6.

Decided from the get-go not to grind things out, so I am still steadily working my way up the ranks (whats the rush after all), have Master Combat, Broker Trader and Pioneer Exploration. Only got up to a Python a month or so back so still feel broke - no billions in the bank here! Only own 4 ships currently Cobra, Asp, Courier & Python.

Still mixing it up a fair bit, trade for an hour, do some hunting or find a CG. Gave PP a go but didn't like it so opted out of that, but still plenty of ranks and permits to sort out.

Gaming ED time is reducing though, only really playing in short sessions these days to avoid the getting bored element. Tried almost all the ships, weapons and roles out other than mining so far - not much more to see there. I see the boredom creeping back in though so I think its another long trip out into the black sooner than later and see if I can get that coveted Elite in Exploring.

Not playing at the moment. Had two hours free the other day and realised my inclination to play ED had gone away, went for a walk with the dog instead. Don't like PP at all. Am frankly disappointed with break from new and original lore. Had a brilliant two and a half years of joy with it all though, so don't feel in anyway short changed.

Cobra parked awaiting something interesting to be added. Might be back in August (if the rumours are true) or for paid expansions.

Got to Competent, Merchant, Pathfinder. A-Spec'd Cobra (starting ship for me).

On the plus side, LaveCon should be fun and No Man's Sky is looking way more interesting.

ELITE (unofficially the first to get there, and even then by sheer chance).

I'm hardly playing the game now. Not because I don't want to, but because I can't for all sorts of real life restrictions both planned and unplanned. Yet these restrictions have only increased my want to play the game: right now there's so much I still need to do in the game, and I don't feel bored at all. I still have PowerPlay to look forward to: I'm saving that for later.

That said, in game I do what I like.

I've not started playing the game yet as i don't think it's worth playing until more content is added. I don't want to play a game that is constantly updated I just wanted elite. I don't like online games. I might start playing next year.
