You have to wait until F.D. release it. For 1.3 and 1.2 it was 2 or 3 weeks before general availability (from memory - may be wrong).

Any chance of a cheap second pilot slot for Lifetime expansion backers?

With Horizons now on the, umm, horizon, I can see some players might want to shell out the extra tenner over and above the discounted cost, in order to create a new pilot, and keep their current pilots for slightly more nefarious purposes.

However - there's no way I'm aware of that the Lifetime expansion backers et al (of which I'm one) could currently get a second pilot slot, without shelling out full price again.

A bit cheeky, I know - but any chance we could get a cheaper one? Even if it is non-Horizons only.

Just picked up the lifetime pass, it certainly does feel like a leap of faith.

I picked it up, too. I have enjoyed the game enough that it is worth handing over the cash, even if it never ends up being worth it in terms of expansions used over my playing life (ir - the expansion may keep coming for a decade, but I may have stopped playing after just the second one).

I am glad I got in at Beta, though would have liked to have gotten in at the kickstarter stage... Still, being able to buy the lifetime pass kind of puts me where i would have been. Except for naming a station...

I'm getting the Lifetime Pass.. even tho I have just recently started playing this game, i enjoy it a lot. If I had known about about the Kickstarter it is something I would have been a backer on... So I get a second chance at backing this game, which I feel is worth the time & money. I plan to be involved with this game for years to come...

I'd contact support about it if I were you. I don't think they'd want a bunch of people thinking that they'll be getting the LEP if they aren't actually, if it turns out to be some kind of processing bug, or similar.

Same here. This is also one of the reasons I got the LEP, missing out on the Kickstarter campaign and the alpha and beta stuff.

Just be aware that a life time may not be as long as you like.

People think ten years plus but they could releas Elite deadly in five years, stop development of Elite Dangerous so 5 seasons.
It could even be less if FD are very mercenry.

Just bear it in mind.

There is no beta client. In order to launch beta you use the same client as you use to play ED. Beta is made available during beta testing only. As soon as beta testing is complete and they are ready to release the new content beta servers are turned off.

Oh, you may have gotten the LEP with the beta stuff possibly. Not sure about that myself though. Up to you, but I wouldn't post my order history and order numbers on a public forum.
