Ok so regarding that "hint" on reddit about historical flags etc - we've been circling around this many times. So back to the plagues, etc: did we ever get one to Carl Simmons at Newton Dock, or did we just talk about it endlessly and then go off on whale noises and orcas instead?

--------------------------------------------
Edit: keeping my eye on this.

Did Kerrash not say that if we didn't figure it out soon FD would do it for us? That was around the first play of the Horizons trailer. Related? Anyone tried anything with these near no atmosphere, rocky planets?

There are 2 major releases (1.4 and 1.5) before EDH. I dont think 6 months would count as "soon" to anyone except MB

maybe another clue from the guy who was with frontier:
"Just try to remember the way, how the Thargoids got humiliated by mankind."

we need expert that know everything about elite world history

This point to this being involved with the Cerberus plague. Considering humans use a virus to defeat the thargoids last time.

And they mentioned artifacts being in Horizons

In this spoiler is an interesting link.
It backs up what you are saying somewhat.

Also I have seen other 'secret organisations' that are not Dark Wheel and are not factions.
Their missions are very rare, I have only ever seen one and they are not the Elite ranked missions.

The Jades link is practical because it dates the articles.
The "Disenfranchised register discontent" article is dated in 3255 (well after the Thargoid encounters) and kicks of a long story line about the Sheehanworld rebels, that was not propperly implemented in FFE.

The story contains ships lost in hyperspace, strange drive tech, alien artefacts found in deep space, federal despotism, links to Antares/Sirius Corp. and a (two actually) Leviathan that disapairs.

The question is how much FD has modified this story.

....

i'm thinking it's a solution that seems to meet all the criteria of the hints weve had, it's simple and you'd be surprised it hadn't been found yet. It Frontier had came out and said that's the solution you'd be like, I can't believe we didn't get that. =(

The trouble of course the UAs are so rare that it's very difficult to resist the urge to grab it asap.

Ratking: I checked Wishblend's videos I can't see this having occurred on her Twitch as you suggested, I've pm'd her.

If anyone's seen or has evidence of the UA falling of on it's own and nothing happening it'd be great to rule the above out.

Hm, I might be able to resist the urge. With Bob here in my hold, crapping all over the place... but then again, not sure how long I can hold out. I could certainly try to play who lasts longer with the T9, but AMFU is kind of cheating. ;)

So do we have any teasers of anything in 4 or 5 that might relate? I think they said Ships would be part of that. CQC wouldn't really make sense.
I don't think Kerrash would give us a 6 months SOONtm ;D

@Ratking15, @Wishblend, @RedWizzard and other UA finders/holders - please read this new idea... (haven't seen it elsewhere and I've read a lot!)

The devs encouraged us to "listen to them" - who says it is the UA itself we need to listen to?
The Universe is packed with sounds including planets. We can hear sounds from planets and stars on maps but also when we are close to them.

Did you guys try and fly as close as possible to the planet where the UA was at and listen to the planet?

My speculation is that the UA are a link to the upcoming planetary landing expansion. Maybe the planet next to the UA gives out sounds with clues in them? Maybe it is the planets we need to listen to?

That can all be done here - anyone can create the threads themselves. There are existing audio threads for example (most of which I also consider guff, in the politest possible way). ;-)

If you've used Reddit to any considerable extent, you should know the difference. You can have multiple threads here, yes, although it is a lot more organized and easier to use on Reddit. That and it will have a larger appeal and likely have a more active following.

Also, people really need to face it that this forum format really is getting outdated. I'm not saying that Reddit is the only way to go, but it sure as hell is better than this.

This may be left field, but has anyone seen any AI relics recently?
I haven't seen a single one in any of the SSS I have been going to.
