Finally!
Absolutely, we must: I've asked it all day yesterday ;)
4 CMDRs very close to the UA. There was someone asking for 12, and I agree as well, but 4 is a good start. Something interesting will happen.
CMDR Delmonte video is very very unique, and he said they did not carry anything.
And, no Sidewinders please: try to bring massive and big ships instead: I think the mass could be important.

Ratking is right, we need the ships very close, almost touching the UA.

Were in say where n when, I have had practice now at getting the Conda close (Bit too close opps!) we are also UA hunting tonight in Timocani just for the fun of it
All welcome to wing in, (Mobius group) or do we set up a ne UA hunting group ?

Cmd Delmonte & Outspan at your service

Absolutely, we must: I've asked it all day yesterday ;)
Also I can only find 3 other times you've said about getting people really close to the UA and one of them is a double edit of a post......I think you just got burried at there was a page popping up for every page I read yesterday

Odd barely covers it.....?

The UA is hacking our accounts and the forums to delete posts and stop us from progressing!

Well I'm against having people that close due to expierence with losing UA's......and sidewinders are easier to control and smaller so more ships are possible to get close to the UA.......so yeah.

In CMDR Delmonte video, there were: Anaconda, Python, DB.

I'll just repost, see if it dissapears again.

Seems far fetched, but I played with Mathemathica a bit and found the center for the known UA sites.

Here's the data (from Wiki article):
[Confirmed]
Timocani = 24.625 / 10.75 / -72.40625
109 Virginis = 6.0625 / 106.09375 / 82.40625
Krisha = -108.625 / -107.21875 / 14.65625
Tanmark = 1.6875 / -77.875 / -30.09375
HIP 102128 = 87.5 / -87.3125 / 98.90625
Reshas = 73.9375 / 71.03125 / 54.59375
Blatrimpe = 29.125 / 11.3125 / -15.875
UN NO MYOIN = 78.1875 / -95.28125 / -60.875

Alternative theory, the roar and glow it it gathering energy, but the radiation/toxic damage and blue glow is indicative of damage and it is unable to power up/charge up fully.

However I cannot think of a way to transfer energy to the UA without damaging it.

This may be old ground covered before but I am just brain storming

What about transferring some fuel to it, has that been tried?

In CMDR Delmonte video, there were: Anaconda, Python, DB.

Still the python was scraping Delmonte's shields close to the UA and again expeiernece with putting the UA out there has shown me that having people that close is very risky......as it's been destroyed through people just trying to get in debug camera range......however experience CMDR's like Nilreb with flying around and such who know their ships and joysticks I would be okay with as they keep good awareness and follow what's said brilliently along with taking the initittive when needed or suggesting things.

Anyway I'll see about it just give me time.......surely you guys can wait longer since we've gone at this for 3......no 4 months now?

Aren't there only outposts in Timocani though? 109 Virginis would be a better choice, but 109 Virginis Tinfoil Hat doesn't have a very good ring to it :(

Agree on the outposts-only point yet... probably ninja'd... 109 Virginis' Melville Station is something like 109Kls out. Not much fun. :(

More late night thoughts about the UA and it being a pointer to an object or system (i.e. the first of a trail of breadcrumbs) and a question:

Has anyone slowed a purr down so that the individual pulses that make up a purr are analysed for any kind of numeric "encryption"?

I had this wild notion (again) that destination co-ordinates from the dropping location might be buried in a single purr and that multiple purrs are essentially waypoints to an eventual location. The differing numbers of purrs might be because the observing "ship" has better jump range and hence less purrs/waypoints are needed to get to where the UA is trying to steer us to.

I wish I had more time to help out with analysis and hunting....
