For combat and smuggling mission yes it has a docking computer but I don't use it most of the time.

Drop the 5A shield generator, pick up the 4A, drop the Docking Computer, pick up the intimate discovery scanner. Enjoy the increased profits and extra Exploration ranks/Profits.

So you can't land small ships either? I am getting confused, you just said you could land them.

Or wait, you just said you were wasting that slot for no reason?

I suggest a smuggling orca instead, no shields, no weapons. With ramming damage alone, you could out DPS your Vulture, earn more money than your vulture, and survive 100000x longer than your vulture.

And smuggle ALOT more Cargo all while running that beast at 20% heat management.

For real, believe the hype.

I bought a orca a while back it was meh. Really it was a challenge to keep it fighting I sold it. I turn off the dc and enable the heat sink for smuggling.

Yes I'm with Aisling and been so for the 4 weeks but may as well wait until retail hits before bothering with the prismatics.

I manually dock my vulture when smuggling other than that I'm just to lazy.

Don't waste your creds on the intermediate Discovery Scanner, just go ahead and shell out the creds for advanced. Either that or just stick with the basic. That extra 500 Ls is not much help. Maybe a planet or 2.

As far as the OP. Play the game the way you want. Build your ships for YOUR wants.

My planned use for it is doing my rare trade route with regular commodity trading between rare commodity stations. Plus capability to FuelRat when needed. I plan to haul 10t of limpets at all times.

Sir, as long as you think this is true, I cannot help you.

Also note, you cannot fire half of the weapons you want for your ship, while running 4 into systems, nor are you "out maneuver" anything with 4 pips into systems(your moving at 80km at that point, or boosting, and still slower than everything else in the game).

Your defenses are paper thin, and take a lot longer to recharge than the average ship. Your weapons, are for show and do not function properly with 4 pips into systems, you cut your already low DPS, even lower.

Again, not trying to be mean, just drop the cargo slots, or fill your ship up with them. And if your running Cargo, your not as light as you claim to be, and if your not running Cargo, you would be lighter if your slot was empty.

Please stop making outlandish claims, so I can stop poking holes in it, seriously, this is making me seem like a jerk.
