If you are seeing that issue and your have a AMD card it is a driver issue that is on their roadmap to be fixed or at least it appears that way.

http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/latest-catalyst-windows-beta.aspx

Known Issues:
◾[77970] Ashes of the Singularity™ may crash on some AMD 300 series GPUs
◾[59528] Core clock fluctuations may be experienced when FreeSync™ and FRTC are both enabled on some AMD CrossFire™ systems
◾[58233] Ashes of the Singularity™ may fail to launch on some GPUs with 2GB Video Memory. AMD continues to work with Stardock to resolve the issue. In the meantime, deleting the game config file helps resolve the issue
◾[77255] The secondary display adapter is missing in the Device Manager and the AMD Catalyst™ Control Center after installing the driver on a Microsoft® Windows® 8.1 system
◾[59475] Elite: Dangerous - poor performance may be experienced in SuperCruise mode
◾[59792] A black screen may be encountered on bootup on Windows® 10 systems. The system will ultimately continue to the Windows login screen
And if we have this problem and dont have an AMD system is it still down to drivers???? sooooo yet more weeks where i cant play this game.

you know what would be nice... to see speed of all axis, not just a total of all axis..

would be nice to know iv nearly got my vertical speed down whilst aligning for docking bay doors.. its a would be nice thing not a complaint

After listening to player feedback the Devs have made the interdictions slightly easier. These were mentioned in last week's Dev Update. :)

Gutted about this, the opinion seem fairly divided and the negative feedback has dropped off as people have got used to it. I suspect this will now lead to posts complaining about giving into the complainers and making the game to easy

Cheers for some detail....when you say

- Long range smuggling missions – These have been balanced so that they are not so common, these may be adjust further as necessary

please mean you'll make some re-appear

Thank you Zac. Might I suggest that many of the issues with the BGS could have been found in the beta if we were given a little bit of direction about what was being changed, how it was intended to work, and what needed to be tested. The approach of "just go play the BGS and tell us what you see" wasn't very effective and didn't encourage participation from the player base. There were plenty of willing participants that had no idea how to help.

This has been the greatest issue with the "beta" testing all along. If no-one knows how the thing is meant to behave, how do you test "Plan Vs. Actual"?
Chucking it out there with no directions or "check that.." is not testing, it is hoping for the best. When I was in test dept we had a full unit & system test plans and then VVT test phase. I am amazed at the apparent lack of structure in FD testing.

Off all the things you guys are complaining about the rank requirements for the ships? Game is broke, go to a Haz RES and laugh at the dead AI.

Wait, you are not serious, are you? Not based on the ranking you see here?

http://elite-dangerous.wikia.com/wiki/Federation

Because yesterday I was thinking of buying the FAS as Chief Petty Officer (rank 5?), you are not telling me I need to be post commander from today on are you? If so, I hope you need to be at least Earl to buy the Clipper then? I wait, anyone can buy it right now (again)....

SORRY!

I've corrected the answer. The ranks are 5 and 7 respectively.

Sorry about the confusion. :)

Gunship - Admiral? :O
Corvette - Senator of Federation? :O

Uh just corrected By Zac, thx :)

Pretty please, consider upping the cargo space requirements for the smuggling missions instead of making them extremely rare. For example, a 6 million CR mission for 60t contraband cargo, 2 million for 20t, etc. This would make smuggling a valid profession with roughly equal payout of CR/hour like the other ones. Even if a player does them with a bigger ship it will take them a lot more jumps and fuels scoops, leveling the difference.

Seems pretty strange huh?

They really should focus on all the current bugs and not only the horizons update... that is definitely annoying and keeps me away from further spending money into this "bugged" game...

I´m so suprised... you can´t imagine...

If you set your map controls, you can move the system map around and zoom in and out. If you scroll it up (so your cursor goes down) you'll then be able to click on the planet obscured by the text. Or click on a planet further to the right, then click on the planet you wanted to click on originally.

But wouldn't this be easier?

Not exactly rocket science.

I was in a conflict zone last night and made 4 million credits in about an hour due to the moronic AI and all the Anacondas spawning with 10% hull. I felt ever so guilty.

Thanks for the patch guys, good work.
.
But, man, did you have to pick peak evening play time for east coast of Australia???? (TIC of course - but it feels as though every darn game seems to run patches right when we're trying to play.....I can only put it down to petty jealousy that we Aussies live in the best country in the world....)

It's going to be evening somewhere!

Of course, you Aussies have the advantage that the lack of gravity in space doesn't mean anything, you live your lives upside down anyway!
