Gun Sight Mode Trailing: PAC's best friend(and fixed wepon's in general)!

Just tried it out, I hit thing's much more often with fixed weapon's using this sight mode as it show's where the projectile will(most likely) hit. It's not foolproof, but it make's a heck of alot of difference. I usually miss half my PAC round's by a noticeable degree, but with this site I only wasted 5.

This is bizarre because I use trailing. I watched a video today with a leading sight and I thought that it looked a lot easier, as the leading sight gives an indication as to where your target is heading.
I was going to post the exact opposite of this thread :D

I've had discussions with others on this, and really it just comes down to personal preference and what's easiest for you and your flight style.

I can't line it up leading reliably to save my life, yet this mode I was hiting more. Guess my mind just work's backward's. :p

I currently use leading myself... Though with NPCs they seem to know its coming... s tend to turn away from it more than half the time unless you are pretty close. There isn't an incoming warning for PAs so they shouldn't act like they know they are coming. Been thinking of giving rails another go just can't stand the delay... It usually messes me up.

Trailing is all good and well when you're flying ships like the FAS. But since the purchase of the FDL, and the horrible position of the Huge HP; leading actually becomes the best option.... Well, to my play style.

That is how trailing works with fixed projectile weapons?! Still learning new stuff about the game.
