Too...Many...Games!!

Merry Christmas Commanders, well the inevitable has happened, I have WAY too many games now and due to it ALL my games have suffered. Elite Dangerous, Fallout 4, Starpoint 2, SW Battlefront, ARK Survival Evolved (get this one if you don't have it), Need for Speed, CoD, Halo 5, Elder Scrolls Online, The Crew, Forza, Witcher 3 and the list goes on! Add to this my snappy new Elite Controller and ChatPad and I am having a darned hard time trying to finish ANY of them.

I know the feeling lol....i used to wish people would stop giving me socks and underwear for xmas, now its gift cards for game 😂 Merry christmas

The missus asked me what game I wanted for Christmas and I thought I've already got Alien: Isolation, Dishonored, Far Cry 4, GTA V, Thief and Dirt 3, I haven't got time to play any of them in between Elite: Dangerous and sleep! So I asked for Halo 5, because Halo.
I played that for an hour or so yesterday but just had the feeling I'm wasting valuable Elite time.

Witcher 3 is a must have for anyone who missed it ,Elite (of course ) Witcher and bloodbourne are the best games this gen for me by far.
Star wars would of been up there if they had made it battle field not battle front.
What are other cmdrs favourites?

I've got a bunch of games too but ultimately whether elite lives or dies is down to the group I play with. If they move on I will eventually too. Hopefully after a black ops 3 frenzy we will be back playing elite like our other go to game - world of tanks. Wot is the only game we have consistently gone back to, I'm hopeful elite will be the same.

I tend to have binges on other stuff then back to ED. I must admit though, ranking up from Earl to Duke the hard way was a lot of fun (and hours)...almost back to how I used to play when I first started. I really loved the BB trading missions in the Python and it was certainly nice once I found a place with lots of them. Cemiess... for those of you doing the rank grind for the Imperial Navy :)

Once upon a time, I used to advertise a game called Just Cause, then Just Cause 2, to my friends. "It's the biggest game on XBox" I said, emphatically. Bigger than Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Witcher, Dragon Age, etc. (this is true).

Now, I have Just Cause 3, the... um... second biggest game on Xbox. :cool:

When I first heard about the Elite controller I thought "Brilliant, a controller just for Elite Dangerous! Must have like 30 buttons!"
I was sad when I realized that the world doesn't revolve around my favourite game. :(

Just wait till you realize how low ED is on the game industries radar... So low horizons wasn't even reviewed by some websites. . Sadly enough I'm sensing this games death March. . I've already ordered my commemorative Wreath for the Funeral.

Say whatever you want, but this game is just getting alive..

Its not going to die anytime soon.

What I've realised about this game is those that get it pretty much turn out to be die hard fans and those that don't play for a relatively short while and quit. I predict this game will last for years for most who "get it". Just hope enough of us fall in that category.....

Maybe, just, maaaaaybe. they released a tad bit too soon..

But they are tweaking, patching, updating, nerfing, buffing, and fixing the crap out of this game in office. its out for 6 months inclusive gpp, and for only 2 months for the big public.

In another 2 months it will be twice as good, and in another 6 months we will be able to land on planets, and more and more ppl will hear about this game.. Its a game that needs to grow, and needs to win over new public.

I think right now, the most gamers that play this on PC and on Xbox/mac are mostly 1984 fans aswell.

I'm having a blast with Xenoblade X on the WiiU, it was definitely worth getting this console for this. It's so good I have hardly played Horizons since it was released.

Too many games, yep I can empathise there. Recently, I've added Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Star Wars Battlefront and Gears of War Ultimate Edition to my collection, and I'm going to get Elder Scrolls Online as well. And with Forza 6's drivatar behaviour being fixed recently I've started playing that again as well.

Bizarrely, I've only logged 8 hours or so on Fallout 4 at the moment.

I do still keep coming back to ED though. I need to finish my journey to the core!

I considered getting a Wii U purely because of Super Mario Maker. Then I realised I couldn't justify getting a console for one game (although in fairness, there'd be Mario Kart, Smash Bros and Zelda as well).
