Okay that's cool, I download the game and will transfer it to the unconnected PC and install it, I will tether my PC to my mobile data. Just hope its just authentication and nordata.

My internet hopefully will be back by Tuesday, but being the kid I am I can't wait till then...LOL!

I have the same problem exact issue. I am in the standard beta and i have the expansion and no dice on the upgrade discount. I am patient though. it will get resolved soon enough.

FYI people when the program asks for your Username it doesn't actually mean it. What it wants is your email address.

I hope Frontier sort that out - took me 5 minutes to work that problem out!!!

EDIT: Which was small-fry compared to the one hour it took to get my keyboard+mouse combination to work how I wanted it to!!! (I have my XBox 360 controller here, but using that as well as the keyboard is impossible!)

I'm now enjoying the fourth scenario....

It is quite common for usernames to be an email address. You should always try it if you are having trouble logging for the first time with a non-email username.

This forum also requires an email address doesn't it?

So let me get this straight as i've clearly missed something here. If you have both of these you then qualify for the premium beta? My standard beta access is through the kickstarter campaign and i purchased the expansion pack separately, not sure if that's the same thing or not

No downloads are available for me in the store downloadable content section

Nope, Standard Beta + Expansion pass does not equal Premium Beta. Premium Beta does include all DLC though, but it also gives access to the game at an earlier stage of development than Standard Beta.

Why are FD sending me an email asking to join Alpha if I had not join Premium Beta on 12/4/2014 when I was already a Premium Beta member and had join Alpha to help Mr Braben & Co on 11/4/2014?.

Silly fool .. I am already in Alpha and don't count me out!.

Totally enjoying playing Alpha 1 ( I'm beta premium ) ... Will we get access to another Alpha before 30th May ? If not I'll keep honing my skills with the Xbox 360 controller. That seems to work pretty well for me. Still looking for a left hand compatible joystick.. Any ideas.

Also is it possible to run ED with two monitors ? I'd love the wider display.

No, no further access to any other builds until May 30th according to FD.

Multi-monitor display appears to be functioning in at least later alpha builds.

The T16000 is a really good joystick and a really good price. I would recommend it to anyone Leftie or not.

Price of Premium Beta Access Update if pre-ordered game.

RE: The ability to upgrade to Premium Beta is now available for anyone who has already pre-ordered the standard Beta or the final game. This option is now available on the store after signing in.

What is the upgrade price of the Premium Beta upgrade for anyone who has already pre-ordered the final game?

I have signed in but I cannot find the option. Thanks.

The price is the difference of the premium beta price, with what you already paid for the pre-order.

There is no upgrade option. Just buy premium beta. The actual amount due will be displayed in the final screen.

Have emailed support regarding upgrade from Prem Beta to Alpha but the store insists on trying to charge £200 instead of £100 ? Is this going to be fixed ?
