General / Off-Topic Things that annoy you more than they should.

For years now I have had an almost phobia level dislike of hearing people eating, noisy eating is obviously worse, but even if they are quiet eaters I still hate it, I will usually leave the area if I can.

I cannot stand it, sometimes it actually makes me annoyed or angry.

I'm the same with bad habits in public, like farting, or hawking up snot.

Well, I was surprised to read recently that there is actually a known 'neurological disorder' called Misophonia.

They even have a sufferers homepage...

Anyone else have any 'annoyances' they would like to share ? ;)

People who stop dead in the street when you're walking behind them.
Couples who will not separate and expect you to walk on the road so they can walk side by side on narrow pavements.

There are more.

Some are tongue in cheek. ;)

I hate group hysteria.
it makes people behaving like cattle.

I complete agree!!!!!!!!!!!! It's despicable, we should form some sort of action group and protest about it in the strongest possible way, maybe even blow up Robin Hood airport!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Group hysteria has literally ruined my life - I've lost my job, my house, and two thirds of my right arm because of it... and I'm barely exaggerating*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moo.

* I had a day off work and was visiting a friend so I wasn't at home... and I broke a nail.

Rude people, people who drop litter in fact mostly it's just people.

Also people who let their dogs sh** on the pavement and don't clear it up.

altho, on a positive note, the streets are generally less dogsh**t cluttered as they used to be when I was young, when scraping your shoe was an almost daily task.

Bravery on the internet. I try to speak the way I would if you were in front of me. That can be passionate, but rarely rude.

People who stop at the top/bottom of escalators to have a group discussion of where they are going to go when they get their ***** sorted.

People who stand at the back of queues, when they are not queuing.

People who cant spell "queuing" without a spellchecker.
