Rares Trading Metro Map

It would be nice if the "stations" gave an indication of the fly-in distance. You could fill them like a moon "phase". Think of them as they are now as a "full" moon. Then fill them in like moon quarters - so you would go from full moon to 3/4 moon to half-moon to crescent moon to "new" moon. Useful distance indication could be:

full-moon - less then 300 Ls
3/4 moon - less then 1000 Ls
1/2 moon - less than 10,000 Ls
1/4 moon - less than 200,000 Ls
new-moon - more then 200,000 Ls

This would add very useful info to the metro map (tube map in UK)

I have been busy on an update...

Just sorted out the colours.

I will add a key later; but basically it is all centred on Alpha Centauri, which is 0,0,0. The central core is green. Up/Down in the galaxy is on the 'y' axis - everything +50 to -50 y is Green.

Then +50 to +150 is Orange
150 is Red
-50 to -150 light blue
-150 dark blue.

Will tidy things up, and add the key then that will be 1.0.

Then for 2.0 I will also add distances between the stations.

Well in the next week I plan on doing a test run on a group rares run... Lave loop down to the Empire... Want to do a test with at least 4 commanders. 1 big ship parked, and lots of little ships filling it up. If people are interested let me know, the first one will be a low key controlled affair so i can get some useful data, don't want things too messy at first lol!

I followed that map once! It worked really well! It inspired me to add some routes to my map later - things like Express routes/ routes for big ships etc...

Amazing map, what program did you use to draw all the lines?
Ah, 'BM' means black market, not 'banned material' or something. I didn't think there were that many illicit rares!
I think I've gotten more than 10T at a time from Jotun. Also, the dark blue lines look like they're on top of orange or light blue lines that they cross, when they're supposed to be the lowest, right? Also, is Diso system missing: it should be right next to Lave, right?

Oh, I'm having trouble finding Cherbones on the map, to retrace the Blood Crystals to Lave CG a few weeks ago. Maybe a second page with some sort of grid or key to help find stations? It's hard to go from a station name to finding it on the map right now. Good for finding the next closest rare to where you currently are, though.
