Hi Eventure,

I'm still 3000 LY out, but heading back. I'm reading the thread about them adding a clock to the UI for 2.1 in June. Would it be possible to add a GMT and Local time clock to the display of TCE? They are asking for other things like a timer and count down display, but a basic clock in GMT and Local might be a nice add to TCE.

Awesome work as usual! One question for me who is just come back into ED after a month or two away, it seems I can't move the location of the panels anymore? The 3 at the bottom are about 1/6 up from the bottom of the screen, interfering with menu selection in stations - how do I move them?

Been loving your TCE for many months. Apologies if it has already been mentioned but I've just noticed that the rare commodity Sothis Crystalline Gold was missing when I tried to add it as a rare when adding Newholm Station, Sothis to my db.
I am using TCE Mk2 v1.1.5

If so please check the FAQs and the manual, how to start with TCE.

Did you point TCE to the right netlog folder? Please check it.

Click&hold the panel name and move it into the desired position. The three bottom panels have to be open to move them.

Thanks for reporting, will add it to the default database comming with the next full release. You can add it now with the Wares Database panel. Click on NEW ENTRY, enter the name, select RARE as the category and SAVE it. Thereafter it will show up at the Market Database panel.

I deleted AppConfig.xml ( moved it too desktop first , then shot it ) ran the FD installer and it re-required the files so ALL the TOOLS now work, what a pain that was ..... AppConfig.xml getting corrupted

Suspected , but , one of the other Tools makers MagicMau -of [h=1]Elite G19s Companion app FAME[/h] confirmed it , so now your TCE is ready to launch ..all good

@ You can create also a file named AppConfigLocal.xml at the products/elite-dangerous-64 folder beside the Appconfig.xml file with the following content:

Ah of course! I'd forgotten about the Warez - I always wondered what it was for as it seemed that all rares were already there.

Eventure all good solved Appconfig.xml was corrupted , so re-required it all working now , but thanks for the info above

Thanks Eventure - I actually worked it out last night but didn't get around to replying. I'm sure I tried all that but obviously not....got there tho! Keep up the awesome work, you add so much fun to ED through this app (or at least, enable me to find the fun by removing the tedium)

Have to check this, but where should it display?

It would be best if it was displayed all the time, so either a new panel (not worth it?) or add to the Current/Destination box.

The image below is a poor attempt to show:
Add XXXXU or XXXXZ to show UTC time, or Zulu time, which are the same as in game time. I'm not sure about international use, but U or Z is used in civil aviation to prevent confusion about flight plans times of arrival/departure. By putting a U or Z after the time, it makes it clear that that is UTC/Zulu time. I suppose you could also add a G for Game time.

For the local time, add a L after the time, and put it either in the 'current position' box bottom right corner or 'destination' box lower right corner so it's easy to see at a glance and not to confuse with UTC/Zulu/Game time.

The issue I'm having is the new database after import has no data, so I've lost all my work. The import start's off well but brings nothing acroos - See screenshot




I'm obviousluy missing something here, but can't figure out what - Has anyone any ideass ?

So, I'm back in the bubble now, and updating from 1.0.2 to 1.1.5 (new install). Things went fine, but it asked me about importing old log entries. I said 'yes', but then saw ~ 6000 log entries. I don't remember making 6000 log entries. What does that number represent?

The log entries are generated automatically as you travel about the galaxy. So each time you enter a new star system or new sector within that system an entry is recorded in the public_log table within the TCE database. This enables TCE to produce the statistics on the number of times you have visited a particular system etc. It also gives you the ability to 'expand' the log entry by using it as a base for recording other things such as Conflict Zones and Points of Interest which are then stored in the public_store table within the TCE database.

If you have a look at Eventures guide it should explain it in more detail.

Ah, I don't recall what constitutes a 'log entry' in the manual, but ok. I was just worried I was importing someone else's entries. [woah]

The REGIONAL SUMMARY is perfect for not only setting your home base of operations. but also for clearing out a sector of a set LY circle.

Considering I'm a completionist, even though I know there's no completing ED. I can still map out the human bubble. I've always updated all STAR CLASSES with my current 35 LY range, now I can clear out whole sectors systematically. Obsessive much?

It seems to take the System Summary panel a very long time to pop up when entering a system. I went from the main star to a starport 400LS away before the summary panel popped up. Is there any way you can make it like before, so that it comes up very fast after entering a system? Remember, I use it for Navigation is why I'm asking.

Hi there,

how big is your selected Trade Range? By default, there is a 10 sec. delay till the panel opens, but it can take longer, if your selected Trade Range is quite big (> 100 LY's).
