Open the panel and click&hold the panel name to move them to the bottom. It is their default starting position.

Well, I used TCE to restore my DB, and it went back to taking 1:25 to start. I'm guessing I'll be back to slow position detection, but I'm going in game now to find out.

edit* to be clear, I don't care how long it takes to start.

Yes, but there are times when I want to sell for loss (involves the background sim and changing faction influence). I understand I may be a rare case using TCE that way though.

I have tried some testing after fresh install, playing as I described with results, then restoring my old DB. I left everything set to default (trade range, etc).

With my DB restored: Below is time (in seconds) for new location recognition by TCE and how many stations, if any, were in that system. It may be useless data, but I figure why not pass to you.

35: 2 stations in DB
24: new, no stations in DB
2: new, no stations in DB
16: 4 in DB
23: 2 in DB
13 (twice): new, non in DB
12: 1 in DB
41: 4 in DB

I will try your email next.

edit* SUCCESS! Whatever you did with that email makes location detection instant across the board.

edit2* Forgot to say, this also makes my TCE start up time ~25 sec instead of 1:25.

Thanks for reporting back, I will release this hotfix as a regular update tomorrow.

Hi Eventure

Install the new update 1.1.6 then took off to the next station in the system to try out the new add
I pressed save it took a few seconds to do anything then this box came up for error database is locked..

having to go back to 1.1.5 for now wait for a fix...

With the time it took to do the post I clicked the "ok" box and it seemed to have done it
had a look in the modify bit and it is all there but have not shut it down and reloaded yet.

Tried to add another station this morning the same box came up (database locked) so I clicked it (the box came up again) and it did not save the station.

Funny, but now my TCE is very slow too. more than 2 minutes to show system and even more when registering a new marked.
I understand the fix will come today sp I don`t have to make a fresh install?

1.1.7 is much quicker at detecting a change of system, many thanks for the fast release.

I've spotted a cosmetic issue in the English Language version.

When adding a new system, when entering the distances for the Star System Positioning, only one of the correctly boxes has "LY" at the end of it

The rest have "Tr" as shown in the attached screenshot. No hurry for a fix it as it is only cosmetic.

Thanks for reporting, changed something at the translation mechanic. Will be fixed with the next update.

Found the bug, it happens, when using Date and Time filter together. Will be fixed with the next update.

Slight problem, or misunderstanding of functionality.

On the REGIONAL SUMMARY TAB, when a star system has 1 station there is a DESTINATION button

But when a star system has more than 1 station the DESTINATION button is no longer there.

Also when clicking on a station in both the above scenarios most of the bottom screen is blank, is that correct, and again you can't set the station as your destination.

There seems to be a issue with the clock, despite selecting to display the clock it does not display the next time TCE is started.

This is a great addition, well done.

I have noticed that the odd time some systems I add don't connect to the rest of the db of systems, they seem to be stand alone. When I jump back into systems that link up in the DB all is normal but the stand alone system isn't listed.
Is the program limiting an area for trading? what i mean by this is that each area of the galaxy map is seen as a region so that not all systems are loaded at one time to cut down on memory use etc?

Just trying to understand why some systems don't link up with the rest.

Eventure,

The clock setting doesn't stick between uses of TCE. When I turn on the clock, it's fine. When I shut down TCE and later start it, I have to turn the clock back on again. I think this may be working as intended, but wanted to let you know anyway.
