If it's fast and well armed, where will you put the stolen cargo?

I know... sorry it did come across that way...
But it's all "me me me, want want want, give or die"...
If you want the victim to give you cargo and roleplay, then you have to give something back1, and right now, it's all one way.
No wonder that people don't wish to play your way.
It's probably, as I think has been said already, disconcerting when you get asked to drop your cargo (often all of it) for an attacker flying a wing of Eagles or Vultures. I mean if I drop a tonne of tea you'll be so overloaded you won't be able to low-wake.
=============
1 I assume you intend to give a gameplay experience, but as things stand, it's not what your intended victims want, or if it is, then you're doing something wrong since they obviously don't stick around for more.
I know that I have pushed Siobhan into private mode on this forums and cannot see my posts. Which although delicious, doesn't stop her PVE drivel for me.
Why is a PVE player, commenting on a purely PVP action? ( Yes I know you COULD Pirate an NPC but that is not what this thread is about )
You have private mode and solo for your style of risk free playing.
It would be like me telling you how to better trade, mine or explore. Stick with what you know.
Asking pirates to respect the wishes of traders so they have fun, is simply so idealistic and unrealistic in this situation that its goes to comical.
You might get that in a TINY amount of the interdictions.
Being in Open carry's the risk of ANYTHING happening and I truly hope always will.
Even if open dies, it will die on its feet.
A trader will not WANT to get robbed, they might not mind it but its not going to be their preference of gaming.
Why are people trying to placate the players who would most likely combat log or always trade in safe mode anyway?
The only traders who cannot get away from EVERY pirate situation ever are
Really terrible players who are not aware of their surrounding, feel entitled to trade in all areas and just don't know how the game works
Those who do not know how to high wake
Those who are in an unshielded, no armour trader
Those who still believe the T6 and T7 are viable traders
Those who get jumped on by a well organised pirate wing ( Even then its 50/50 )
Someone hit the nail on the head earlier, I am truthful. People hate the truth, when it doesn't suit their narrative.
Being a pirate means you are a bad person ( in game and apparently outside of it )
Traders are meant to hate/fear us but there are plenty of ways to counter, avoid, even fight back. ( All without cheating or mode switching )
The Code plundered and murdered its way across the galaxy in this games heyday and except for the bile from some traders, were recognised for what we did and universally respected.
To the point we were made a Triple E group.
A trader interdiction should be a Dangerous experience for the trader, if he doesn't do what is asked of him.
Expensive for him if he tries to get away and fails.
Relatively cheap and a decent story to tell, if he complies.
Stop trying to make the people who hate everything PVP to agree on how PVP should work.
It would be like trying to get me to enjoy PVE.
