There's also that weird sentence from Allen Shroud's book Lave Revolution, that could be interpreted as meaning that the Formidine Rift is somewhere between Reorte and Riedquat, and that ships where disappearing there. Cannot find a link atm, but it struck me as a bit of a Bermuda Triangle vibe. Was it ever cleared up what it meant, or how that sentence should be interpreted?

It's slightly off-topic but I could use some positive thoughts or prayers while progressing through the formidine bridge with a UA in the hold. As idiotic and unyielding as it might seem I still think it's a worthless effort that should be proven.
Generator is down on 7% reboot is in order shortly...BTW it's a fantastic race with time, one that I would truly recommend to anyone looking for a different aspect of fear.

There's a lot in that post!

Some new commodities only available via mission rewards, and can be used for story events.

I wonder what story events... Perhaps it is already time to start plotting my trip back from the rift to be back in time for the update!

Are you planning on deploying it from time to time to see if it points anywhere other than Merope?

Yep and it points back to merope. Dropped it between the heart the soul nebulae but still pointed back to its home. At 13.5k out still looks back to the pleiades

I was thinking about the Bovomit sector, UA and the special cargo hold

why need we special cargo hold to protect our ships against the UA, that can only mean we going to transport them allot and maybe long distance,
they look a bit like a key and maybe 1 UA opens one Bovomit sector,
and then they will give a signal towards Maia, and something will happen maybe the veil will then removed and make visible wat now is not to see.

The journey of Kahina is one like a hermit searching towards the light in the Dark= search for knowledge and understand wat is invisible like our soul(soul searching) it is there but we cannot touch it.

Is it normal to find a POI on a planet -you know, the blue circle when approaching the surface- 7400 LY from the bubble? I'm between the Heart & Soul Nebula currently. On my way there I landed on lots of planets to gather jumponium and never encountered those blue circles until now.

Yes. This will be fixed in 2.1 though. " Also, human-created POIs will also not be encountered as far out from human space as they are at the moment."

Yep I suggested this here a while back (my quote above and link below).. The point has been discussed on and off since then, but no conclusion as far as I'm aware.

Hey guys, it has just occurred to me that Drew loves wordplay and "... Right On, Commander" is basically ROC... He said that we need to look at the "CORE" of the problem...

I am away from the black in the interim. Can someone run a few name trials through the GalMap for me... Searing for systems, planets and sectors that might be "EROC" "E-ROC" "ERO-C" and other variations?

I mean, it's "core" backwards... Could it be this silly and simple?

Sadly its not. None of them show up in the GalMap...

Theres systems that are named CORE SYS SECTOR... In the bubble.

Please note that word that I highlighted with bold text: "Pyrrhic".

That's an odd little word, isn't it? Not one that I generally hear in day-to-day conversation. Beyond that though ... why is it capitalized? Its not a proper noun.

It may mean nothing ... but reading Drew's earlier "Oolite" stories has taught me one thing: Drew likes to hide messages in plain sight. I'm not even sure if Drew wrote this particular wall of text but if he did then this might be something significant.

Try going down the rabbit hole ... With the Alice in wonderland feel to the sol visit ... and Lewis Carroll's love of Acrostics and Anagrams ... My favorite Galnet post is the "Alliance Shines Light on Prism Senator" .. particularly the alliteration "bungling bureaucracy (could mean - system) petty-mined procrastinators (not sure but could mean: Minor Dragon - [thinking ursa minor draconis]) and deranged docking debacles ( anagram fun time - Black Disc on Edge )

And why stop there - Reorte/ Riedquat could be a hint to Reorder Riedquat .... Rite Quad ... Right Quadrant ???
