I've just been scheduled for a kids play outing on Saturday.
Must remember to turn on the computer in the morning to download the patch whilst I'm out.

New mouse - check
Play through combat scenarios... again - check
Endlessly reconfigure controls in vain attempt to get past 'Incursion' - check
Another attempt to use the 3D Pro - check
Endlessly reconfigure controls AGAIN in vain attempt to get past 'Incursion' - check
Treat 3D Pro to a monologue best titled 'Obscenities I Know' - check
3D Pro returned to shelf with exasperated sigh - check
Buy HOTAS or something equally whizzbang - not check
Buy new pc case with multicoloured fan instead - check
Turn off lights and use glowing fan as 70s special effect - check man
Better than whizzbang HOTAS - possibly check
Think the 70s lights might inspire better leet skillz (whatever they are) and get the 3D Pro out again - check

Reminds me, will there be a pizza donation for the devs again, we can pledge for ? ;-)
The only thing I'm waiting on is my new headset to attach my homemade head tracker to, otherwise I'll have to balance it on my head or hold the USB cable in my mouth.
I think I exhausted myself during the alpha 4 buildup - I'm not sure I have the energy to do it again. Of course, come Friday I'll be weeping salt tears every 10 minutes from dawn when it still hasn't been released yet.
