Horizons Cant find ANY POI's while exploring no matter how hard i look???

- you need to be between 30 km and 2 km above the surface

- you need to set your sensors to maximum range

- you'll see blue circles, fly to them, and land. take your srv and follow the wave scanner.

where are you looking?

for a test i suggest, drop out at a surface port, and leave as described above --- they sometimes need a minute or two, to show up. you'll for sure find something in the 50-100 km range around a surface port.

if you are out of the bubble, it can take much, much longer. i once cruised around 20 minutes for a poi.

If you're several thousand ly from the bubble, this is pretty normal.

i have spent over an hour olookin for one yet no luck what is this everyone else can find one am i bugged?

I have never seen POIs show up on my ship's scanners either so I don't think you will find them unless you are specifically looking for them as other posters have mentioned. My question though is WHY do you need to find POIs? If it's for data/mats there are probably better/faster ways to find what you're looking for than trying random POIs.

Thank you Cat_Astophe. That video taught me a lot as I have never found a POI and did not even think they existed a few days back. Sweet!

You are quite welcome. But be aware, sometimes the POI will appear a little off center. Still, that is the best tutorial I have found.
