Forums are Depressing

I remember when i first fell in love with ED, and i came to the forums to see the upcoming features and join the community, and back then the community was nice..... well , nicer than now, back then the NEWS LETTERS HAD ACTUAL NEWS ,back then PEOPLE DIDNT INSULT YOU BECAUSE OF CONFLICTING OPINIONS


i get death threats when i say "FD should close solo"

WHA.....WHY? its a game, you act if i was stealing the food from your children




im almost 100% sure that most forum users dont even play ED anymore .......... witch im sure isnt surprising



and don't even get me started on the mods , (because they will close the thread if i do)



FD the forums could benifit from some attentions, like a news drop or something because right now, ITS JUST A WINE FEST , and there is no cheese to go with it


threads like "i quit", "i uninstalled ED because im mad at RNG" or "grinding sucks" are spamming up, I MISS THREADS DEBATING A NEW and UNEXPECTED FEATURE, im sure other people do to




the game doesn't need fixing the community dose

Who cares What I think....

I think FD does a great job, because they have a great job to do.
Standing up and saying - This Game Is Eternal - and putting it (again) at my feet is respect.
Busting ass to keep it alive is a full time love, as is playing it.
Anyone that can gripe about the growing process is not involved in the growing process.
Don't worry about the niches. without niches you can't climb.

as a matter of fact i do,ADD prevents me from reading anything above a 2ND grade lvl

but ADD also helps me program like a boss, so ill say its a good trade off


not to mention no one has the time any more to make 'proper paragraphs " on a back water game forum , no normal person cares that much

El Dragoon!'s point seems to be that the forum is filling up with menial content, whereas the game is evolving so fast that players are not really seeing the full vision. The background game is governed by developers RNG coding combined with an overview of physics and scenario. Maintaining some sort of balance in this chaos is the art FD has gripped the evolving mastery of. To a point where even we can play with it. It's easy to forget how many years have gone into just the idea of this game alone. We need not even, with the coding.

If one wants to they can begin their own faction, put it in play, get it registered in-game, build wings, and own a piece of the space. Pretty amazing for a game.

I think there will always be good stuff to talk about in the forums. No need for junk even if there is space for it.

Yeah ... I asked a mod too close down a thread , due too it.... 'delayed sounds/ explosion in space' too give you that in (vacuum) space experience' :D

maybe not enough stick figure drawings lol

quick question,do you not see all the whiners on the forum? people dragging out a dead topic, ahhh nvm i see your ED optimistic and cant see any flaws in the game

If you hate the tenor of the forums so much may I humbly suggest you make a positive contribution rather than this complaint thread? Which, I might add, is exactly the kind of thing you seem to be railing against?

Of course it's never ok to issue threats. I'm sorry you have received some, apparently.
If you or anyone receives threats of any kind, please report it to the mod team.

I was going to say no-one on the internet should ever receive death threats, but then I noticed you're part of a group called "Murder Trolls" and I lost interest.

and also i get threats alot , they are just children, no need to punish them harshly, im just sad that people feel the need to force there opinion on to some one so harshly
