the point of my thread is to stop all the "i quit threads" and the "ED sucks thread"
not the mildly insulting constructive criticism threads like this one , because no mater HOW pointless these thread is, it has more worth than an "Quiter thread"

you get death threats? Your sig says "Murder Trolls". Could construe that to be a death threat to half the posters here.
I'm on the forum all the time. I have over 1560+ hours in the game. Visited over 8200 systems and i'm coming up on my 20 thousandth jump. I have over a billion credits in bounties, elite combat, tycoon in trading and i'll be elite explorer when i get back to the bubble.
Mods work for free, so harping on them isn't gonna get you any points.
The game does need fixing, not just tweaks to gameplay to improve it, but some actual fixing of bugs that are regressions that haven't been fixed for months. The community's attitude is a response to this, not the cause of it.
It also doesn't help that you're posting all emotional and the text comes out looking like a drunk person wrote it. Unless you are drunk, in which case it looks like that.

There has always been fighting, whining, moaning, etc. Maybe back before ED was launched it was ok. I guess some of the older forumites might be able to attest that 5+ years ago it was a very nice and quiet forums.
But since ED was launched... well, let's say we have a full spectrum of people on these forums.

There are a few threads on these forums where there is fun to be had. I look forward to those.
Some people just want to argue/debate and focus on all the negatives. I try to avoid those, I may still read them but I wont pour fuel on a raging inferno.
I get enough of that at work. This is playtime. My game may have it's flaws, highlighting it over and over is not going to fix it any sooner.
It will happen eventually, see if you can have a bit of fun in the meantime as a distraction.

While the game is in early development forums tend to be a lot more constructive and generally nicer. This usually changes (more or less) later down the line so it's nothing new really.

Yes you get all sorts on here and every opinion going on ED, but it still is, almost, first for the info of the game, it is first class for solving in game problems, and for sheer entertainment it is the best bar none!

Death threats are a bit strong.
You ask for an mode thats been advertised since ks 3.5years ago to be removed. People like myself paid £100 for the game advertised as a solo game and you wonder why people get upset?
Not stealing food from my children but £100 from me because you bought the wrong game due to lack of research. When I checked what I was buying first. And you really wonder why people get upset. Really ?
