Thanks for confirming - we will look some more tonight. I spent 2 hours last night driving around the whole area.
So it was on the whitish dirt then with the grey rocks. Not the brownish dirt with the brown rocks. So it wasn't on the "sand" bed but up in the mountains.
It was the key/padlock-looking objects in the imagery. It was generally considered pareidolia.
was it one of his "cut everything up, reverse it, reassemble the pieces in the order specified by applying trusted tea leaf reading methodologies, feed the result into Google Translate and translate into 5 different languages and then back to his native language" things?
Alittle off topic but can someone point me to a video/sound of the jingle you hear in orbital cruise when locating barnacles?? I'm pretty sure there's one around somewhere, I just can't find it (I've checked the front page and I can't find it). Thanks

if you don't have special cargo racks and you don't keep fixing it with auto repair bots yes. The UA corrodes everything around it (your ship's components will have damage if you take a look) and eventually it will damage your cargo hatch and fall out. Once that happens it will decay and die.
Certainly within the realms of possibility. Currently the UPs have only been found in the bubble. Tip Off missions, to which he refers, happen around the bubble. They may be linked in story but have separate paths. They may not be linked. Keep all options open until proved otherwise, I'd say.
