Last couple of days when trying to land at surface stations have been on final approach and in range to request docking but when going to contacts, - shows no contacts in range, I can see the base but unable to request clearance - anyone else experiencing this or do I need a reinstall ?
Is your scanner module enabled, not damaged.
And, are you attempting to land at bases with one or more +'s beside their name?

Planet unexplored?
I got that the first time I wanted to land on a base on an unexplored planet. I could select the station from the solar system map and go to it, but not request docking.
Found out that the planet can not be unexplored. What you need to do is target the planet, not the station. Then just fly a few LS near the planet and your ship will start scanning the planet. Once its scanned and you see its name instead of "Unexplored", you can target the station on said planet and go to it fine.

No these are standard bases, at the minute ones controlled by the Sirius Corporation, I may try a different faction, but not had any problems up until recently, and they are not even warning me of restricted space etc which I would normally expect
