I used Ubuntu for YEARS... then I realised WINE sucked, I was sick of Tron and Ubuntu-Civilisation and just admitted it to myself.... I needed Windows to play the games I wanted to play...

I did the same, but maybe didn't use Ubuntu for as long as it seems you did.
