Horizons [SUGGESTIONS] Being allied to minor factions. Some questions - some suggestions

I was wondering.
I am fully allied to minor faction X. In my case the Sirius corporation. But it could be any faction.
I couldn't get more allied than I am. The bar to indicate this is completely orange.

So why then are the ships of this minor faction not coloured green in my scanner?
I think it would be very satisfying to see that these ships belong to a faction that considers me an ally and a friend.
It would be some sort of recognition of the effort I put in.
It would also be an extra incentive to try to become allied. Visual feedback like that works.

Also why do ships of the this allied Sirius faction still pirate me, their friend and ally?
Of course they could be deviants, but still... in a game it would be nice if that did not happen anymore.
Instead it would be great if ships of the Sirius corporation helped me out if they spotted me getting attacked.
They could jump in when I get interdicted, sent me a message in which they acknowledge me as an ally and assist me.

And on the other hand I might help out ships of the Sirius corporation in a RES for example and get recognition for that and perhaps even rewarded with rep and credits.

I think that would be great touches to make the world feel alive and real.

[EDIT]
I forgot about the worst thing: You lose rep (and quite a bit) with the faction you are allied to if you kill the pirate that attacks you!
So obviously the attack is sanctioned by your ally, which makes no sense.

I think the security forces are shown in green when allied, not the private ships. And pirates, well, are pirates...

A pile of things in ED just don't make banana.
Interdictions, e.g.
Too much work, i guess...

Yes I know how things are done now, but would it not be much more satisfying the way I propose?
Would it not be great to be able to really feel yourself an ally to a faction and being recognized as such by ships of that faction?
And I do think this should be simple to implement.

At least the Sirius corporation should be indifferent when I kill a pirate that abuses their name. As far as I know the Sirius corporation is not a pirate faction after all.
They should not lower my rep. They should thank me for getting rid of the garbage and give me some modular terminals :).

Well, a co-worker isn't automatically a friend, but i get your POV.

I think it wouldn't be too hard to actually pledge to a minor faction? Faction tags and such? I'd die for that...

Yes indeed, that could be the next step. I'd like to be an official Sirius Corporation fixer. :)

I'm a member of a player faction. It's more than vital to differ between friend or foe at a glance. Which is impossible right now.
New recruits on an almost daily basis...
I just cannot believe how badly this whole system was implemented, it's to 100% externally, completely outta the game...
sigh.
May the RP be with you.
