Why the shortage of BuckyBall racers?
try it guys at least once it is great fun and you can learn a lot about flying in the races.

Great idea Alec! Kind of inspiring to see a list of things we've done. I'll add a couple more unique ones:
() Held hostage by the CODE.
() Had cat killed by said CODE. (cat was named Kenny)
() Accidentally blew up another player using fuel limpets (sorry)
() Intentionally blew up another player using fuel limpets (not sorry)
() Tried to erupt from inside a planet like liquid hot magma (didn't work)

Yeah I wondered about that. I suspect some of the initial momentum from this poll will have been lost but I might just do that. Perhaps we should have a poll to decide whether I should make a supplemental poll.

That made me laugh, it's so very true, "it lands on you...". I saw this place as part of the Crab Nebula Expedition. Glad they started the tour from there because it was a great place to start from, Very Suitably Whacky [noob]

So, taken part in an expedition would be another one for the list along with been part of a joint/group jump out. Seriously tho, the expeditions are well worth doing if you haven't given them a go yet. The organisation must be a Royal headache but a lot of fun! Find a slow one, as most are unfortunately about covering distance without giving time to scan as you go along. If anyone is interested let me know. It would be fun to put a 'Slow Boat to Jacques' or similar Expedition together!

A number of times, but usually I'm breaking off at that point and fleeing for home base. With that said, a few weeks ago I was in a High Intensity CZ with CMDR Vindelanos running combat ops. I was in my FdL. We'd been dueling with a wing of enemies with no help from any allies. I'd just taken down an Elite Python, but had been taking fire from multiple enemies the whole time and as he blew up I was down to no shields, 85% hull and a breached canopy. I was just getting ready to turn tail and make a run for home base when I was engaged by an Elite Vulture; it was fight or die for me. Probably the fight didn't last as I thought it did at the time, but it really seemed like it went on for several grueling minutes with him constantly disappearing right before my eyes and darting at me like an angry wasp. I started getting pretty claustrophobic listening to the sounds of my avatar running out of breath. When the fight was over I emerged victorious with 60% hull left. Coolest, most intense fight of my career.

I remember fighting an npc in the asp once...should have been an easy enough fight but fer some reason, I lost the entire canopy in the first few shots fired and fought the entire fight with just the sound of my breathing and no HUD. How I won, I shall never know...was actually sweating afterwards and didn't realize how intense it was. A very unique experience ^^

Winning a fight with a bust canopy might attract a few more done-thats than initiating a fight with a bust canopy. There's no point in introducing a category that only jasonbarron can tick off <grin>
