Update (1.4.0 Beta7) released:



Changelog:
- Added extended journal data from ED 2.2 Beta5.
- Added updated TCE_Cartography.db database. Now containing star age and temperature.
- Fixed a crash when using OCR to scan prices.
- Fixed an issue in the position detection routine, showing sometimes the wrong station at your position.

Note:
Copy the content into your TCE folder to update your version.

I think you might have forgot to upload the file?? I just get link not found unless the link is bad.

Found the issue, a missing shipstate information. Also enhanced the FSJ Jump to display more in time and not afterwards.

This issue still exists, though slightly different. After I've added one market, I went to new system. When I arrived at station in new system, TCE shows the current system but with the last station's name. As before, I could only Modify/Delete Market, not Add. I then restarted TCE, added current (second) station to my DB, then proceeded to a third system. When dropping out of Supercruise at this third system/station, again TCE showed the correct System, but showed the last station I had entered (station #2). Again I have to restart TCE in order to add new station.

See video for behavior. Clip starts showing first station I added to Market, Paez. Then traveled to Sagan Port/Mundjiga. Again, you see the names change in the location field, and you can see it change back and forth when requesting docking permission again. I hope this helps you.

Sorry Eventure for not participating in the testing in this beta version. RL is taking a good chunk of my time and I haven't really played the ED Beta installation yet.
I'll sit out on until ED Beta is deployed as final release.

Likewise, and when I have briefly tried the Beta I seem to be suffering from the 4K stuttering bug that Frontier are aware of but makes the game almost unplayable.

I installed TCE MKII but when i launch it and started ED, nothing came up in game. I have set to borderless but still nothing. can someone help please?

Please try it once without ED, if it displays at your desktop.
If so, please revert back to "Full Screen" in ED, apply and back again to "Borderless Window".
If not, did you using a multi-monitor setup?

I have dual monitor setup. I tried running it without ED but it has a message at the bottom saying "Please Start Elite Dangerous Now". Also when I start ED, the deatils of my last position, ship type etc shows unknown all the time not sure if it is actually linked to the game or not. I am running ED from Steam, this shouldn't be a problem should it?

Hi again,

when starting the launcher of TCE and it saying "Please Start Elite Dangerous Now", make sure you have selected the right version of ED before.
If the version is correct, TCE want you to start ED to apply the changes made in case of the verboselogging entry.
When you have started ED, the text changes to "TCE is ready to launch", click the LAUNCH button to start.
If TCE showing "Please exit ED now" instead, then you have selected the wrong ED version before.

If you want to participate at the beta of ED and want to use TCE, please install the TCE V1.40 beta + update.
Otherwise you have to install the V1.35 + 1.391 update.

The details of your commander will be gathered later on, when you have used TCE with ED. But at the beginning, it is unknown.
The data could only be received, if you have EDMC installed. Otherwise you have to add the data yourself at the Personal panel.

Sorry, my fault. Untested last changes didn't work often well. It should be fixed now.

i have installed your addon, however, i cannot seem to get the game version to appear. Any suggestions on what path i need to follow to make this happen?

i too have loaded the final update, I am only running Horizons only, so i dont have different games to choose from. everything shows up under version, path ect. however, When i launch it the program, i am told to start ED, once ed starts, I am told to exit ED, nothing happens, i have tried uninstalling and installing with the same results. if i run 1.3.5 with the update, i cannot get the commoitdy tab to run, if I run the 1.4.0 along with update 8, I am unable to get the program to run, again i am directed to start and stop ed with no end. Please help. TCE is in D and i am using file C:\Program Files (x86)\Frontier\EDLaunch\Products\elite-dangerous-64.

To be sure to identify the problem, if TCE saying, you have to start ED, you have to load your last save and get into the game, not only to the main menu. When within the game, press LAUNCH at TCE. Did you do it that way?
But because you are not the only one, who run into this sequence, I will rework the prelaunch preperations to be more understandable, what I really want from you to do.

because TCE is steady growing on features, it's missing alot of translations for the new panels and reports. So I created a OneSky project to speed up the missing translations for TCE with your help.
Currently supported languages as german, french, russian and spanish. If you want to see TCE in your favorite language, please help me here in translating the interface.
Additional languages may follow, if requested and completely translated.

I have done excatly as you stated, I would upload pictures of the screen shots, however, i guess they are too big. first thing i get is to update database, once done, start elite, once started launch TCE, once started, quit ED, once quit, start ED, rinse and repeat....

have translated it into German, nearly all is translated now, have made some comments on serval words... plz comment back so i can make changes if needed.

thanks for your help, made some small corrections in the case the translation is too long and got truncated.
