- Fixed an issue sizing the font of Event Reporter not properly.
- Fixed an issue with the transfer of an old database, adding star's, that are already present.
- Fixed an issue with the transfer of an old database, removing the notes from the TCE_Personal.db database.

just a short question, I haven`t had the time to read everything here.
I installed 1.4.0.3, and everything seemed to work fine
But when I load the game and I am on a previously registered station, TCE asks me to "click to add marked".
In 2.2 do we have to register the markets again, or have something gone wrong when transferring the MKII database?

Open Navigation Panel and click on Flight Log. Unhandled Exception: Conversion from string """ to type 'Double' is not valid.

Eventure.
I reinstalled 1.4.0.3. and this time the markets transferred fine.
The files showed as unverified, but seems ok now.

To clear your cargo, please edit the player.data file and change the Cargo entry to Cargo="". Will add a button to make it available at the Cargo panel.

No Connect button

Hi and thanks again for the huge updates and changes you have made. I don't think I can fly without TCE now -- so many many thanks

I have one question, its probably something that I have not done when I upgraded, but I don't have a connect button any more. I am in my home station and I know I have registered it, but still no connect button.

Some questions:
Is EDMC installed?
Only no button at the first market after starting TCE, or at all registered markets?

EDMC is installed and I can press the update button and it know where I am. There was an application update, so I did that as well.

I have only been to a couple of stations so far and no connect button. In the station it knows I have been here before as it tells me the number of times I have visited.

I think I imported my database correctly

Another edit.

I have noticed this information on my comms panel
"0 Stars imported, 1627 duplicates, 43 failed"

I wonder if this helps?

EDIT

Further to what I said before. After the application update (EDMC) I then loaded up the system. When TCE was running, the connect button was there. I then loaded ED and it was there all the way until I finally was in the hangar -- once the loading had completed the Connect button disappeared.

Hi Eventure

Now using v1.4.0.4 with ED 2.2, however I have run into a problem.

The old 1.3.9.1 db transferred over fine and I started TCE with 2.2 running.

As I was mining in one system and off loading at a station in the same system TCE didn't have too much to do but when I got back to the station I noticed that TCE didn't register when I dropped out of SC. It seemed to have hung but did not give any error messages. I used task manager to shut it down and used the TCE utilities to verify the db. It showed an error in the logbook db and I used the repair feature and ran verify again which ran through without any problems.

However I couldn't get TCE to start again after this as it gave the error 'Index was outside the bounds of the array' on the loading screen and if I tried to 'continue' it just hung.

VR Users Note:

Some of us like to pop back to the desktop to make edits, or read something, to want to use a 3rd parts support app like this one that likely has a component that you want to get to but can't when in VR mode.
(TCE then can use F8/F9 to get the desktop up and then back to ED)
We have a work-around now that uses a Virtual Desktop or Big Screen (free) with ED:

I just tried upgrading to 1.4.0.4. I am starting to think the upgrade failed although it didn't complain when I transfered data or verified it. Despite starting fresh with 1.4.0.4 and doing a transfer from my old 1.3.x install directory the database did not transfer my personal notes. I realize the 1.4.0.4 release notes claimed that was fixed. I have updated to the latest versions of all the optional bits. As it is the current version isn't usuable. In this latest version I both lost the connect button and automatic update on connect is not working independent of whether that option is checked. I'm still seeing the old trade data from my 1.3.x despite my best effort to automatically or manual update the price information. For example after the 1.7 update LTT 7548 Boltzman Gateway doesn't even have Advanced Medicines but the Trade suggestion still insists I should buy it. This was the old suggested trade pre-upgrade to 1.4.0.4 and Elite 1.7. Lastly I get this exception when I attempt to click on navigation:

Getting this one, too, after:
- 1.4.0.4 update
- importing old db again
- verify (no errors found)
- starting TCE Relay to update prices
TCE still wanted to upgrade the db after this.
Thereafter, hangs on loading, same error message.

Hi.

TCE can not identify my ship. Anytime i change from another ship to my Anaconda i get an Error-Massage.

If i try a Sidewinder no error will pop up, but the ship data , like jumprange and cargo , has no value.

This pops up after changing the ship from sidewinder to anaconda.

Sorry, but maybe I missunderstood what you mean with side-by-side. Thought you meaning if TCE can be installed multiple times.
So please tell me, what you really mean with side-by-side?

I transferred my TCE.OLD ..... everything went ok ... but ingame i have no registerred markets ( .OLD DB shows 88 transferred correctly )
