The point is, not being able to take down pirates and survive by yourself. You can have a couple lasers and SLFs of course.
@Qohen, thanks for adding me to the roster. Small detail, dunno if it's important (maybe people are going to use the list to add friends or sumthin') but my nick doesn't have a space between Tiny and Pwny, it's TinyPwny.
Anyway, awesome job, I'm looking forward to the whole shebang! Prepping my ship atm, trying to find a balance between large jump range, a bit of safety, utility and some luxury.

So, if I leave 4 medium pulse turrets on my Cutter, will it still count as a Carrier? Guess it doesn´t not harm those poor pirates too much.

after nearly one year of playing mostly on my own this trip comes at the right time.
So I signed in as carrier.
Sadly I cannot make it to the departure event but I will start the next day and will catch you up at Basecamp #1.
I hope thats ok.
At the moment Im preparing for this event.
Discord, Fleetcomm, EDDiscovery, EDSM, Frontier Forum (except reading) all new for me but I will get used to it.[noob]
Now Im looking forward to have a great journey with you all and to get my first Elite Rank in Exploring (31% to go)

To Carriers, Escort and Stratotankers
The Security Protocol is now available on the server. If you intend to take part in the main departure event, please familiarise yourself with it; any sign of non-compliance will be enough to grant a kill-on-sight order to the Escort.
If you don't intend to take part to it (i.e. departing in Fleetcomm, at another hour, from another system, etc.), you don't need to read the document.
I remind you that Freelancers are not, by definition, to take part in it and will by default be considered a threat, should they enter the departure system.

Still reading through the thread. I'm an insane individual that took a three week Jaques-then-back-to-Sol mission and am doing it in an Orca. (15 ly max jumps means well over 3,000 jumps by the time I get back.) Should be back by the beginning of next week and if all goes well and I get paid for it so I can upgrade to Beluga, I'll be in, can't commit 'til that money's in the bank though.
What's the current status of passengers? All missions to jaques from the bubble have been three week there-and-back, nothing just point A to point B and nothing as long as four weeks.
EDIT: See that that's been answered a few days ago. Gotta figure out how to roleplay it, maybe just stock up on economy class modules and imagine they're full.

Okey, im in... now i just got to finish traveling back to the bubble via the bubble nebula ASAP.
so i can prep some other ships to be transported to Colonia when we arive to. /o/
Might also be a Fuel rat on the trip but, i need to make Contact with them again on the appropriate channels again and get my training.
(was all ready for it a while back but then i reinstalled my PC and Rushed out to Save Jaque) ><
there for untill otherwise specified ill just Haul cargo ;3

Hello, just registred as a carrier. Haven't read everything yet. but the small amonut that I did read, said that we carriers are limited in how many weapons we can have or none at all. How does it work? Don't wanna be blown up at the ceremony
It just means your Focus is on Delivering Cargo.
You can pack your ship full of guns too.. but idl Hammer your Jumprange and maneuverability more as your already loaded up with Cargo.
Ill personally just stick with 1-2 mines and maybe something els.

Hello to whomever it may concern, I've recently just rigged up a Type-9 for the journey now as I wish to be of more use. So can I have my ship details on the roster changed from my Asp x named Sparrow to my brand new Type-9 heavy named Rubber duck please
