Echo - Voice Activation Plugin

Olkan what an amazing mod, +1 rep!
I tried it last night and it is really beautiful, well done.
For some reason when I start the radio nothing is playing. I can see the radio channel and the play next station works and changes the radio station but no music comes out. Is this a bug? The volume is at 100%.
Also, is there a way to make the overlay gadgets smaller? The galnet news takes over the entire panel and the listening circle is massive and IMO not needed at all.

The Radio broadcast should be working fine in the next update 2.1.4. Tonight i will release it.
For some reason i had to update the URLs for radio stations.
Anyways have fun m8 and thx for the feedback :).

Olkan. Tried to get my hands on the trial last night and the website continues to kick me back to the login even after I have ensured it was logged in. Any ideas? I would love to try and then support your product if I can actually get it to download...Lol.

Thx Dahill, although I never heard of such case of yours, many ppl downloaded or even bought it. But ofc I will look into it and update you.

With the new version, there is no GUI overlay at all nor is there an option to enable/disable it as was the case in the previous version.
When asking to open the various panels (radio, Galnet), the command is understood but nothing happens.

Hi Alex, Your account is a free version account. in the free version there is no GUI, however you can download the demo version also.

Hey Alex, I've extended your demo version duration. and updated your account to demo instead of free. it will be converted back to free once the demo period is over. Now u can use the GUI again :)

Something strange is happening with the Galnet reader. When the news are read, the voice I have selected in the 'speech' settings (Ivona Amy) is not selected but instead another voice (Ivoa Chipmonk) is used. The strange thing is that when the Visor is activated the correct voice I have selected under Speech is used (Ivona Amy). no matter which voice I select, it always uses that Chipmonk voice for the news.
At the bottom of the main window under speech sound the correct voice is displayed. Any ideas?

My original idea is to make Echo has it's own personality and part of this personality is the voice, that's why the voice you choose is Echo's voice. The original idea behind the Galnet feed voice. is that the commander "player" tries to read the news from an electronic recorder. and it should not be the same as Echo. So I made it to select the 1st sound for the Galnet which is "Ivoa Chipmonk" in your case.

However, in the next update 3.0 you will be able to choose the Galnet news voice.

, ive tried it and i have to say its pretty good. One comment tho, whenever i try to click on something behind the visor it loses focus. Ive a workaround for this to call "hide visor" command and then show it back.

Thx Tommy, regarding this behavior of the visor borders. As I mentioned before in an older post, there are 2 ways to draw over the game. one of them is illegal and violates the EULA but will resolve this kind of issues. So i had to go with the other one, to draw GUI separately from the Game's process.
without going into the technical details of this, using a game engine like Unity3D will fix this issue.
I'm now working on this and the integration with the game engine will be ready with version 3.0

Really enjoy your product. Do you have any idea when version 3.0 will be out? If I am understanding correctly that is when you intend to add the additional features for the GUI, correct? Also, based on your comment just previous to mine, does that mean that the intent is to be able to run 3.0 in non-windowed mode? Between that and the planned GUI changes I would be more than willing to pull the trigger, even though I don't use the voice control for anything other than the visor and the features associated with it (galnet, radio, video). Also if I purchase it now, will that help expedite the release of 3.0?

Here are some of the key features for 3.0:
- GUI using Unity3D engine.
- Complete revamp of the UI setup screens.
- Trigger commands by Key-press and Events (ED Pilot-Journal and pre-defined system events) .
- User can add sound effects (echo, reverb... etc) to the TTS (Text-To-Speech) voices.
- User can position the GUI elements as pleased.

Post 3.0:
- EDDB integration.
- Ability to choose from differant Visor shapes.
- Ability to Add cosmatic GUI elements.
- Youtube integration.
- VR support. (R&D)

One more thing, on releasing 3.0 I will reset demo period for all accounts which expired, to try it out. so you can wait till then :)
