How many Crew?

Thanks for all the info peeps.
I have updated the list and grouped them by crew capacity, then sorted by cost so this can be used as a reference for whoever. I must add that this is not an official list of the number of Multi-crew members each ship will have when 2.3 is released. It is an official list of the number of seats in each cockpit.

Crew capacity = 1
Sidewinder (32k CR)
Eagle (44k CR)
Hauler (52k CR)
Imperial Eagle (110k CR)
Viper mk3 (142k CR)
Viper mk4 (437k CR)
Diamondback Scout (564k CR)
Type 6 Transporter (1M CR)
Diamondback Explorer (1.8M CR)
Imperial Courier (2.5M CR)
Keelback (3.1M CR) (SLF capable)
Type 7 Transporter (17M CR)

Crew capacity = 2
Adder (87k CR)
Cobra mk3 (349k CR)
Cobra mk4 (747k CR)
Asp Scout (3.9M CR)
Vulture (4.9M CR)
Asp Explorer (6.6M CR)
Federal Dropship (14.3M CR)
Federal Assault Ship (19.8M CR)
Imperial Clipper (22.2M CR)
Federal Gunship (35.8M CR) (SLF capable)
Orca (48.5M CR)
Fer-de-Lance (51.5M CR)
Python (56.9M CR)

Crew capacity = 3
Type 9 Heavy (76.5M CR) (SLF capable)
Beluga Liner (84.5M CR) (SLF capable)
Federal Corvette (187.9M CR) (SLF capable)
Imperial Cutter (208.9M CR) (SLF capable)

Crew capacity Potentially 4 Although as it stands, 2.3 update only allows 2 additional Multi-Crew Members and so really it sits in the crew = 3 section.
Anaconda (146.9M CR) (SLF capable)

Which ships will suddenly become over powered and get nerfed next? Place your bets here.
Has the Type 7 become even more useless?
Should the Cutter be in the 2 or 3 seats section?

So as I have not flown every ship and seen every cockpit, can anyone one shed light on each ships capacity?

These are the ones I know

Sidewinder crew = 1
Eagle / iEagle crew = 1
Hauler crew = 1
Viper mk3/mk4 crew = 1
DBS/DBX crew = 1
iCourier crew = 1
Type 6 crew = 1
Keelback crew = 1 (why? SLF capable but only with AI crew because reasons.)
Type 7 crew = 1
Adder crew = 2
Cobra mk3/mk4 crew = 2
Vulture crew = 2
Python crew = 2
AspS / AspX crew = 2 (But due to the hugely unconventional cockpit design, you cannot see each other!)
Anaconda crew = 3

These I don't know or remember.. Please help me fill in the gaps.

FDS / FAS / FGS crew = ???????
Fer-de-Lance crew = ??????? (Pretty sure it's 2)
Orca crew = ???????? (Pretty sure it's also 2)
iClipper crew = ??????????? (Pretty sure it's 2)
Type 9 crew = ??????? (Please tell me it's more than 1..)
Beluga crew = ???????
Cutter crew = ?????????
Corvette crew = ????????

Thanks everyone!

FDS/FAS/FGS have 2.
iClipper has 2
Not sure on the others.

Would like to see the Keelback Bridge redone to allow for another seat.

It's a rebadged T6. People would demand the T6 get 2.

edit: and maybe the flight pilot is off in a bunk room. You need crew in the cockpit seats, because the crewmember will have to operate cockpit systems to be a multi-crewmember rather than an SLF pilot crewmember. Otherwise they'd have literally noting to do with the ship operation.

Pretty sure the beluga has 4 seats but multicrew is capped at 3

But player multicrew roles are either turret weapons or slf pilot. The player multicrew role of slf fighter has nothing to do with ship operation anyway. If a keelback has a slf it should be allowed to have a player multicrew join to fly theirs just as they can any other ship with one.

I second this.. but, we know it's unlikely. Perhaps when the ships interior is added it could happen. We can dream.

Yeah - the Keelback is a perfect multi-crew trader with (some) teeth at the lower-end of the cash-scale.

I hope they reconsider.

my corvette is restricted to 1 crew slot i hired 3 and found that 2 were greyed out:( so i had to dismiss them. paying a wage for them to sit and think.

I have always considered the Viper and Cobra to be fairly evenly matched. This update potentially makes a large number of ships a bit redundant if they are much less capable than equally cheap ships. Unless you're a loner.. then it's all good.

Yes and No, it's a heavily modified T6, from the front it is easy to recognise but from the back not so much. It's a similar ship, but not the same ship.
Not really an argument or you could argue with the same logic that the FDS and FAS should be SLF capable when they are not.

What I don't understand is why the Vulture has another seat. It is completely useless. Who would put turrets on a Vulture? I was really hoping for a Navigation GUI as my missus would like to do that. She is not at all interested in combat.

I bet its main use will be boosting noobs with the double reward.

That is another issue I have with this. Someone just starting out can go and crew for someone in an Anaconda and get loads of cash in one game sitting, there needs to be some restrictions based on rank or something like that.

Are we sure those 1 crew ships will not be able to experience multi-crew? Perhaps seating outside of the cockpit? Those ships are all large enough in scale.

just to be 100% sure. We are included in the amount of crewmembers, aren't we? I mean we are talking about 1 NPC + 2 Players + ourself in a "3 crew member ship"?

It's not completely useless. The "Gunner" can still use a Kill Warrant Scanner/Cargo Scanner/Basic scan targets (to display "wanted" and make legit target) in 360 degrees. So while the pilot is flying and shooting, the gunner can be scanning everything around them and resolving targets. Plus they'll ad that extra pip of energy. Tag along with a good pilot and a good way to make easy money.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the Anaconda have a forth seat under the nose of the ship on that observation deck? Multicrew was originally said to be able to gain four crew so I figured that was counting that seat on the Anaconda. If I'm right the Anaconda's the only ship with four. It's location on the ship shouldn't be an issue at all if they can do the same with the two Asps and the T9

FD cant think of something for the 3rd player to do, never mind a 4th.
