Fake dates? They were dates that we originally were aiming for a BETA release for.
The dev team simply found some issues with the beta client. Rather releasing a game client that would be 1) extremely prone to crashing, 2) generally unstable, it was held back so that the remaining bugs could be resolved and wouldn't make it to live. Because let's be honest here, if we shipped beta as it was, this forum would be filled with complaint after complaint about game crashing, networking issues, etc. Which well, wouldn't be helping anyone.
Pay no attention to the whiners.. While its frustrating for those of us waiting for beta to drop, I can imagine it would be even more frustrating for you guys to sort out the issues. Its better to wait and get a final version that is stable.
I am pretty sure I can speak for the majority of players, that we appreciate your efforts and just hope you guys manage to sort it out soon. Before I lead a revolt and storm Frontiers offices brandishing pitchforks in one hand, and wet fish in the other!
