Some great features in here for sure.
Not being able to stack massacre missions is stupid however. In most systems, stacking is the only way to get a worthwhile payout in civil war systems. This was NOT an exploit. Most massacre missions that spawned over 2M credits had me kill several dozen NPCs in conflict zones. Sometimes I would drop in and randomly get attacked by the entire enemy fleet and having to exit immediately to repair. The combat bonds barely cover the maintenance expenses... And many systems don't even spawn that many massacre missions anyway... I think this was an unnecessary nerf since there is a level of risk involved.
Instead of dropping the nerf hammer on every activity worth doing, FD should create and control those lucrative activities, perhaps by making them temporary and challenging to find. Think of a community goal where instead of being announced it is secrete and you get super good deals on a trade route or a mission type for a couple of weeks but players would have to find these deals across the bubble ...
Ed Lewis, if you read this, please give it a thought ! Don't make it hard and tedious to make money, make in challenging and interesting !!
There are loads of ways of making good money. And stacking missions is an exploit in the first place. if you have two missions to kill 10 ships, sure you should HAVE to kill 20 ships to qualify. So don't whine about it, they have left a bit of an exploit for you.
If you want better paying missions, you should build up your local reputation with a system and then you will find higher value missions start to come your way. I mean you get missions like deliver 6 biowaste for 500,000cr! How easy is that ? ... And often you don't even get challenged. Couple that with mixing cargo and delivery missions to lots of close systems and you have a ready cash generation system that does not involve repairing 90% of you ship each time you manage to limp it home.
Or try exploring ... out and about for quite some time. avoid crashing into to many stars, then on return, pay-out of 10's of millions and your name as having first discovered some interesting and not so interested systems.
Or take part in a CG ... After a week (usually) the bonuses can be quite good and you usually get to claim loads of bounties on Pirate vessels in the process.
There's a load of options, you don't have to be a CZ junky to enjoy yourself.
Do bit's of everything and the credits will roll in.
