Why decrease mission stacking to 3? If you can limit it by type, why n not just limit all types to 1 at a time and increase rewards substantially? The problem is having to stack at all, and while 3 is better than 20, why not just fix it entirely where one mission is all you can take, and all you NEED to take because each one is individually rewarding, not just 1/3 of the intended reward...
Why shouldn't I be able to stack missions? When I go to the store I don't make separate trips for every darn item, or even every separate task. And my local postie would not be impressed if he/she had to go back to the office for every item they had to deliver. If I want to do a round trip then why shouldn't I be able to stack as many missions as I like?
The problem is not stacking - it is incomplete or, dare I say it, poor mission design. Time constraints should be more realistic (as they used to be in the old Elite games) and if I get ambitious and on take too many missions then I might fail some. Planning was required in the old games. Get caught out by Hutton? Fail some missions and learn to plan better. Move on. And the same skimmers fulfilling multiple missions is just poor design. Better to fix the mission than to limit stacking. That is like putting the ambulance at the bottom of the cliff.
Everything in this patch notes list is great - EXCEPT this. Limiting missions to 3 is limiting the game play and hurting the game. The solution is to fix the mission system, not stick a bandaid on it.
